Every day is a Saturday for me.
Means no work tomorrow.
Went to work yesterday did a good hard days yakka and thinks 
I think will give my walk a miss today , anyhow my friend phone's and says wanna go for walk this morning OH! Ok I say , so off we go 10 klms of power walking she walks so bloody fast I was puffin and panting to keep up but I managed. Not bad for us older ladies that was until along comes a spritely old 86 year old guy that walks nearly every day & has done for many years , with a huge smile everyone knows him on the walks hope I am like that if I make it to his age

Love my walks too, been introducing a bit of running lately to mix it up a bit.
My daughter's entering the City to Surf this year - she thinks I'm doing well with the distances/times I've been doing so I said we should do a mother/daughter thing in our 'Golden Year', when I turn 60 and she turns 40
If everything's not worn out by then

Yeah your 60th is special I went on a Cruise around Asia with my daughter , my son didn't go but he and my daughter paid for my trip was my birthday pressie it was an awesome best ever holiday and a fantastic pressie!
Yeah sure is amazing good on him just shows ya never too old. I am taking my exercise walking serious and have lost some weight I am watching my diet too starting to feel the benefits now. I am going to purchase a really good quality pair of shoes especially for walking going to the sports store this week to have a look and get measured up so I have the correct fitting for my feet.
Oh! and a rain coat with hoodie in case it is a bit suss weather when walking. Shoppers were out in force today

asha, the best thing is to ignore them, generally they are only chest beating like the gorillas they are.
my random thought... I hate being on hold to my isp.. have spent over 3 hours over the last week on hold waiting for support. Finally today I got the net back, then it dropped out again... when I rang them and told them the prob, it actually sorted itself out somehow and I was told I should make sure all the connections were in properly in the future...
%^$%^#$%$% they were in properly, but something wasnt right but took an hour to come back online fully, hopefully back for good this time, really felt like throwing something and that is just not me!
