Alireza711: Hello every body
My name is Ali from Iran.
Ros is a nice lady an i am happy to teach her some farsi.
every body is welcomed to ask me any type of questions.
Take care
Ali

Hi Ali.

Lesson #1. Aussies have nicknames. Use them.

Lesson #2. Most Aussies relate to a place called Persia where farsi was the language.

Lesson #3. Most Aussies don't know the difference between Iran and Irag. We have enough trouble with the English language were there are sooooooo many similarities but so many different meanings, and 1 letter can make something mean something else.

Lesson #4. When an Aussie calls you "mate" it means you are accepted.

Welcome, mate.

Hi mr Lookin..wave

No...dont think he needs one... being he does not live in this country. and I also suspect.. ( considering that I asked him to come to these threads ) that he had not a clue.. about forums, joining in.. and threads..

so it may take a while to get used to the quote button and the emots..
apparently, our au/Nz does not show for some countries.. and Iran was one of them..

cheering

wash2u: Simple remedy to remove chewing gum is to freeze it and then just scrape it off. Liquid Nitrogen is the quickest way although a fire extinguisher is also a good way to do it.

And chewing gum to me is worse than the butts left by inconsiderate smokers.

Thanks wash I managed to get it out I just scrubbed it elbow grease it worked thumbs up

Government continually makes up more rules to justify their jobs.
Appathetic Aussies go along with it because they don't like to upset the apple cart. The government could pass a law saying that they needed to chop off every civilians head because that was the recommendation of a advisory panel came up with.
People would happily appear at the decapitation area a bit dejected about it all but knowing the government knows best for them.
They would form a line and wait there turn without making any undue noise or comments that might get anyone upset. Then they would give the executioner a friendly little smile,,, Like they appreciate the effort he has gone to remove their heads.... then BANG! Gone,,,,,,,, NEXT,,,,,,!dunno
