curly28: Definitely that's one of the many wonders of having internet. Still there is nothing more amazing then being inside an Art gallery in the real world browsing and looking at the amazing art works and studying how an Artist thinks through their works I love oil paintings of the old world to modern art.

When I was in Tassy in the late 90's I called into an art gallery in a small town and purchased 3 small genuine oil paintings of landscape of Tassy I met the artist. I had them on my walls in my last home as well as my horse properties because it suited where I lived. Now I am in my modern home I've had to change my art work to just modern art but it's no where the quality of the oil paintings , but they wouldn't suit my home here. I gave them to a good friend. If I was rich I would def buy some grand art work and live in a grand old home to suit

yep, like the palace the princes were going let us live inmumbling i love art too, i actually like gainsborough myself, the blue boy is one of my favsthumbs up

I definitely enjoyed the Monet's Garden exhibition and have also been to an exhibition on Surrealism recently in Brisbane.

As well as the art I also love the atmosphere in the galleries. They are peaceful uncluttered spaces that are great to experience I think. thumbs up

Yes wouldn't mind 30c here right now applause

Random Male Thoughts ..........

"I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer.

The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking on various topics.

Finally I thought about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?

Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts. Well, after another beer and some heavy deductive thinking I have come up with the answer to that question.

Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby and here is the reason for my conclusion: A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "it might be nice to have another child." On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."

I rest my case....time for another beer!"
