bjsss: Still lots of things going through me stupid head at the moment. There are somethings that i have to sort out with someone very close to me and sadly it has affected my chats and stuff with Lonelygirl, i haven`t spoken to her for a few days now because of this. I have apologized to Lonelygirl for this but i need to sort this other stuff out as it`s very important to me. Hope this sort of makes sense.

Well I have no news in that I went to GP for referral to ortho specialist and the guy he referred me to has no appointments until November!!!
Called the GP back yesterday to ask for other ortho guys and he's not in on Fridays sooo..
Plan is to call him on Monday then call whoever he suggests .. I imagine there will be a wait for whoever I need to see so I will get an extension on my medical certificate.
Nothing's changed, I've had no treatment, and I'm unable to work until I do.

Gee serene sounds like you're getting the run around so typical of our medical system , have you got someone to help you with chores and shopping etc!

I'm wearing a splint curls which immobilises my leg - I took it off briefly to drive to the doctor on Thursday.
While I was out I went to the supermarket but my knee was very sore and kept locking up so I did what I had to do and came home.
I'm coping ok, really, but I'm also being realistic in that I could be in for a long haul on this one; even when I get to a specialist, if I need surgery there's apparently up to a 12 month wait for public hospital treatment.
So I've spent hours this arvo going through nearly 4 years worth of payslips to see what leave I have .. obviously I'm unfit for work as I am and will make decisions regarding my future once I get a diagnosis.

Oh Serene.,,, so not good for you to be in this way... can you just go to work and sit and do accounts or something... I know you wont be able to do selling stuff, but sitting down... would you be able to do that.
As for your annual leave owing... it should be written on your last pay slip??

Annual leave is not recorded on our payslips unfortunately but I'm happy to do it this way and double-check anyway
Basically I'm looking after me right now, what my boss decides to do as this unfolds is not for me to worry about .. what will be will be.

I am glad that you are looking after yourself. I cant predict the future either, but if you get really bored, and think you will be off work... for a long time...
I suppose you might as well enjoy your time off and do all the things that make you happy.... like your art ...
I hope you find something that will occupy your mind, and not allow the worry thoughts in...
