But throughout the Word of God, this Land is always called Israel - never Palestine.

Does anyone still not get it? The whole area is surrounded by the creation and births of humankind's fundamental beliefs in a "higher power". It is the place of our core, our understanding and our religious thoughts and philosophies and understandings of morality and essential spiritual inner framework.
How can any of us, knowing that this is, using a metaphor, the "big bang" of human spirituality, ever be able to come to a peaceful solution, if we discuss bring religious ideas into finding common ground for this area to find peace?
As long as the talk digressed into religion.... or religious thoughts it is doomed to continue back into anger, and righteous indignation.

Sometimes when I read this, and its all on a screen, it almost seems that it comes from another planet.. I feel very remote from all of this... like a horror story that one reads, but doesn't equate it with reality...
Logically I know its real, and that it is happening,
but this could all be the dinosaur era rather than the 21st century for all the advancement of mankind and its technology..

If you look at history, ever since man usurped womans place as the spiritual advisor and interpreter of nature and power, once the hunter gatherer era ended, and relegated womans power to nil and took control, it has been with violence, death, greed and power.
Women need to regain the control and revert it back to nature and the importance of the human relation with the cycles of life and the beings of nature, as without nature we are extinct.
Men don't seem to realise this, and women in politics seem to feel the need to assume masculinity and carry on the farce.
Power is only truly accumulated by love.
