serene56: At the present time

not to be too obvious but,... reading this thread at the present time.

As for a book? I must admit I am not. I am reading a few different technical Manuals trying to trouble shoot some keyboard midi issues. I am thumbing through an old book called> "Museum of Antiquity"( A DESCRIPTION OF ANCIENT LIFE)
It is a interesting one if you like this sort of thing. I suppose I should start it from the beginning instead of jumping around. lol.

But I should add that I do have a fairly interesting collection of books that are about different philosophies and the design of various civilizations and other subjects such as various beliefs and thoughts on Hinduism, Zen, Buddhism and so on. I have many that are still boxed up while I am remodeling. What is your personal flavour in reading Serene?

I think you would actually. Though so many people now go to the computer I do believe that there is something special in holding that book and the same goes for "Writing". I find that my style in writing is more imaginative and maybe even more creative when using "pen and paper".

Alice Walker "The Temple of My Familiar"

Viktor Frankl "Man's Search for Meaning" again, after many previous reads it still has meaning

Bhagavad Gita ( as bove)

and

"Aim low, they're riding ponies'

Next on the list is John Cleese's seminal work 'How to Irritate People"

Publisher has asked me to write the internet chapter that's now needed ;-)
