People who are dying to say what they badly want to, Can't, or they will get fried. It has gotten to where I don't know what to believe about most everything. One day this food is good for you, the next day it's not. We all know that 'truth' isn't part of politics. People deny truth also because it exposes their lies, so they obviously don't want to 'handle the truth'. Anyway... fire away!!

Maybe if people learned to debate with a little bit of grace and respect, openness would be easier on all.

Deedee123x: I wouldn't say I've been 'having fun living life', but yes, I have played a little tennis. The weather has been much colder than usual, which lessened tennis play. I'm here everyday looking at forums but I am mostly about posting poetry. Thank you for asking...

The truth is often boring and sobering and people are shallow and desensitised. What sells is the biggest sensation or feeling. Mankind - and in the west particualrly - has evolved past the point when it was vitally important to discern between real and unreal, where failing to do so meant being eaten by a bear.

Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
The truth has many faces, usually the truth depends on your personal view of things. Or what others "politicians, religion etc. make you believe as the truth, and by the incomprehensible is accepted by the majority as the only truth. And let's be honest, the truth is an illusion, a marketing tool and sold to gather power and wealth. Both in the past and in the present, people die or are hunted because they tell the truth. From the beginning of humanity, there has always been someone who wanted to see HIS / HER truth as the only one accepted, and people's lives played no part in that.

Most people Want to tell the truth, but as u say, there r ways and means to make people not tell it. And the people that lie, r not all bad, they r hiding things that r so ingrained, that they just can't give the bare facts anymore, as it will hurt too many people, kids & animals and let's not forget the environment.
