unemployment rate in the country. That Obama tax of small business,
on the top 5%, and his spread the wealth plan.....is not job creating.

That increasing the taxes as Obama wants to will cause job lose according to Welsh. Says that Rhose Island economy has been hurt by lack of business start ups......why.......it high tax rate. Jack Welsh only ran a mulit billion dollar company. So he knows a little about taxes, job creation, and international trade.

McCain's energy program, his expansion of international trade, his
support of the advanced fuel cell.....all positive job creation! No hand outs...no welfare....welfare is where a person loses his/her diginity.

The most recent Rasmuson pole on the economy. Has more of the country trusting McCain regarding the economy than Obama. First time that this has happened.

The American people would rather work for thier income than sit home and get a check.

-----------You would be surprised for the support here for Isreal. I had the opportunity to go to Isreal following my military service here. As a
foreign military advisor from the US to the Isreali Army. I should have gone, but family and work here kept me from doing so. I regret not being able to spend a year working with them. Many others here in the US...either by thier church group, their business support Isreal.

Just imagine..... the first Real election in palestine resulted in Hamas victory and no matter what the rest of us thinking about Hamas

I beleive even Obama is a true supporter of Israel he is not afraid of talking with all sides of the conflict any way and thats one of the main reaosns I truely respect Obama.

--------Well I bet if one polls Isreali......after giving away 26 towns in GAZA to the Palestines....and then being rocketed from Gaza for the last 1 and 1/2 years.....very few of them are willing to give away more land for peace. So the Moslem groups around Isreal need to learn one thing. Isreal is there to stay as a country, as a people, as a homeland for the Jewish nation. The sooner they accept that.....the sooner real peace agreements can reached.

If Obama wins.....this will not change the American people support for Isreal. He knows that. That is the only reason he took a pro Isreal position.

Actually Fallingman.....in the college days......I was moderate.....in the
dorm or frat house BS session.....about 2/3 were liberal....1/4 moderate....and a small percent conservative. I was in the 1/4.

I have heard the liberal arguements. Fallingman. They got a lot of holes in my opinion. Look if socialism was so good......why did Communist Russia fall all apart? Because they, self imploded. That you have to agree with.

As much as leaders in a socialist society will say....fairness and equity......that is not how it gets played out when groups of people are making decisions. The Russian leadership group always had dachouse in the Crimea for vacations.....always had the best food....cars....etc etc etc.

With position in a socialist country.....comes all the benefits of
being a leader in the party. Out one side of the leader mouth comes.....fairness and equity.....out the other side comes I got a bigger house (car, vacation home, etc etc etc) than you do.

Then trying to manage a complex economy. With socialism......you have what? Remember the 4 and 5 year plans of the Russians?
They never came close to meeting them. That should have told them right away.....that this was a impossible task. They simply created a massive black market in the country that the Russian mob lived off of.

I have been in former USSR countries after the fall, Fallingman. I know what I saw.....I know fear when the locals talk of the Russian mob.
If that is what I need to learn about liberal and socialism.....I have learned it.

Bill Clinton and Obama together last night in Florida in front of 35,000 was pretty cool. Bill made his case for Obama in a very convincing way. Philosophy, policies, decision making, and understanding were Clintons 4 points.

Under George Bush it went down $2,000,” Mr Obama said, drawing a contrast with GOP rival Mr. McCain. “If I’ve get economic theories that are similar to Bill Clinton’s, and he has got economic theories that are similar to George Bush’s. You can look and see which one worked and which didn’t.”

To be honest, I kinda do miss the Clinton days. Those were good times in between the end of the cold war 9-11. Bill Clinton's administration did preside over the most unprecedented successful economy ever in American history.

Clinton joining Obama in a stump speech was a powerful scene. When you think of Clinton, you think of a good economy and the good ole Clinton days.

Building America from the ground up, not from top to bottom. The trickle down theory has run it's course. We can't put our trust in private special interest groups anymore. There are too many things neglected (infrastructure/health care) and nobody from the private sector stepping up to fix that, and the taxes going to that are clearly not enough. Somebody has to pay for it right? I saw a report that people in St.Paul are drinking water that run through lead pipes, and there is no money to upgrade the system.
Problems everywhere that need to be addressed, not ignored.
