She was a book

SHE WAS LIKE
A LIBRARY BOOK
I FOUND HER
THERE ONE DAY

UPON THE SHELF
I TOOK HER OFF
AND HELD HER TIGHT
DEEP INTO THE NIGHT

I READ ABOUT HER
SHE SPOKE TO ME
LOVE BLOSSOMED
ON THAT DAY

BUT SOON THIS READ
WAS OVER SOON
THIS BOOK OVERDUE
I HAD TO RETURN YOU

NOW OTHERS READ
THIS BOOK I KNEW
SHE WAS LIKE
A LIBRARY BOOK

Hi Niah 9, If you work in a library, you might like "progress?". (Think it's on p.4)
