former time

Did i meet you
in a former time
i dont know
seems to be

did i touch your
open existence
with words
easy to rhyme

did you notice
as i now recall
spinning windmills
in the hall

did you stand
by the open fire
did you sing
in the womens choir

did you ever
stop to wonder
if i met you
in a former time

did you feel
love as so sublime
in the music
of the moment

in new england
cant get the feeling
i cant smile
without you girl

even now
songs of manilow
play like windmills
ever spinning

ready to take a chance again
making it through the rain
where would we be
if music were not here.]

it's just awesome, serpico, the way you convey the idea. and yes, i've had that feeling, but only with a few dear people in my life. strange, isn't it? like coming home all over again, yet, maybe you don't know if they know that's where they are. errr, something like that. i'm a neil diamond fan though, no manilow...rainy day song, instead.laugh

thats the deja vu of life gashly..impressions that are left with us..funny how the mind..does that..i often get in place locations..add the dreams by night dimension too..makes it all interesting..thanks for your comments as always..valued...wine

Lovely poem again, was a fan of both but rocking my soul these days, going back makes me feel old serpico, well sometimes nature is timeless.teddybear
