love carried us away
to where we'll forever stay
and anyplace can be our home
since we're together, not alone
life has now become so dear
just by knowing that you're near
I'm so happy I could die
drops of joy are all I cry
four years now you've been my wife
meeting you has meant my life
I had been drowning in my tears
a lonely man so many years
as one, we laugh, we dance, we sing!
no matter what tomorrow brings
we've been blessed from high above
a lucky two who found love

I love you baby....

Personally, I think the MOST poetic thing about this whole poem is the 'flavor' it's being given by the one to whom it was written in anticipation of her return to her lover!!!
