My best friend died and i was traumatized by it.
I will reach ye down and pull thee from the abyss To ransom thee from his serpent's kiss To embrace thee with an angel's wings And look into eyes that are the jewels of kings Matchless words -- sweet as rare yield For you my friend, your virtue
When I read about this tradegy I was moved to tears at the loss of such innocence and at the same time angry at such a crime. Both very strong emotions (grief and anger) that stirred in me a need to express my feelings. I do write poetry that whilst driven like many arts by emotion, are inspiring as well. Thank you for letting me share it...great idea this forum. :)

The sculptor made her taller than her real life but she was beautiful, and you had to go behind a huge marble wall to walk up to her ... it was unusual but get photography..so I pulled out this picture of her and wrote an imaginary poem.

They also have a difficult time with remembering that their loved one is still very near to them and I wanted to bridge that gap for them.
