This is one of a few poems I wrote inspired by paintings by Marcel Lorange. He liked the poems and asked me to make a book with him, but I ended pulling out as my creativity dies away under the pressure of expectations and having to deliver *slaps self* but I did dearly enjoy writing the poems I did write for his paintings. His use of warm colours really soothes me somehow, and this is definitely one of my favourite paintings ^^
