Childhood memories, memories of my two brothers Michael and Thomas RIP, Love you always,
A little nostalgia for the girl next door.
It was the first time i had seen through the eyes of a child.
Not so good at punctuation just saying how if we are open in our hearts like a flower opens to the sun it's like our mind can enter that portal back in time and be there again in memory .then here in the present nature continues on regardless.. we are just observers in the greater scheme of things if we allow ourselves eyes and heart open to receive vision of times past and ever present in the natural world around us.
sorry not great but my first ever effort lot of truth in there
Ye poem un logo ko, jinhone aage badhna band kar diya hai. Aur khud ko niche mehsoos karte hain. Unhe aasha aur hausle ki nayi roshni me laati hai..
Childish poem
Carry me home Like a leaf in a breeze on an autumn morn Like the sound of laughter from our youth The familiar smell of rhubarb pie On a cold and clammy eve in July Carry me home To where we would sit and chat About everything and anything
This is a true account of my brother's homicide in 1990 I have performed this poem for performance poetry In Donegal, Tyrone and Fermanagh and it has touched many peoples hearts
I spent many hours as a boy listening to shortwave radio; this poem recalls those times, when the whole world was there for the listening, until the internet age dawned, and all the stations disappeared...victims of government short-sightedness and penny pinching. There really were spy messages-and still are-on shortwave-they are known as 'number stations'-no ID, no words at all, just numbers...
This I coined when all of my Best friends were stoned on "The rock", When I was about 15...And upon the rock there was a small stream that cut out a cove under it and this is where I painted this, and it is still there to this day.
A little nostalgia in memory and and respect of my long departed Grandmother who taught me many things at a very early age about life. Happy Easter Gram !!! I sure do wish I could find somebody like you again to make me smile. You were the kindest and greatest woman I've ever known.
I just remembered my childhood days, of the days spent at my Gradmas house in wodehouse road at Colaba in south Mumbai. There was innocence, fun, laughter, picnics, swimming in the sea, movies and great food prepared by my grand parents.
This the story that my Mother revealed to me, about my brother David, her love and commitment to her very poorly son, who died at the age of 10 months, which this day and age would merit minor surgery, such the two edged sword of life.
DEDICATED TO ALL GOOD FATHERS OUT THERE
to be without one sense is hard enough but to be without two must be nearly impossible. I know of all the senses these are the two I would not want to lose.
Short rhyme about thoughts and theyre impact on our lives...I think..
I HAVE WITNESSED CALIFORNIA'S DEATH MASSACRE AND SEEN DEATH BEFORE MY EYES SINCE I WAS A CHILD SAD BUT TRUE
this was written with the memories of birth, childhood, puberty and young adolescence.
just getting warmed up!! hahahaha
Well the memory is still vivid of long ago and the spirit is still strong of thought, although slightly creaking just a few lines of a scene that fleeced itself from time.
I saw an ad by Sense which so moved me, they were asking for a one off £3 payment to buy sensory toys, I donated this poem to them to use in any way they felt fit to promote these children and their needs.
Yup,my silly nana,dear departed, I smile. xxxx
One step at a time. I repeat these words to myself in my mind. Yet, the steps I take leave a mess in their wake. No way to contain my disdain toward the choices I make. Impulsive actions rarely leave time for consideration. I've taken med
This poem is about things that happened to me as a child and the pain and discomfort and how I dealt with it
. . . Sitting down, beside the fire, She saw the storm clouds, grow, So, picked up between her fingers, A thread of frost, and snow. One thread of rain, and hale, A thread of thunders boom, And to finish off, her creation, A thread of l

I lurk in the shadows that tell me I am.
I wrote this poem while watching my daughter then 2 run from animal to animal at her grandparents farm
Ice in my veins and tears that poke I feel it still from the words that you spoke Shivering on the frozen ground My pounding heart, I hear every sound Hiding away from the reach of your grasp But you could feel my fear, hear my gasp No sunlig
What I went through in foster homes. This is the reason I can write the kinds of poems I do. Many people have been through much worse but I pray my experiences can encourage others. Cafe

I MET A GREAT TEACHER AND INSPIRATION TO ME! MY MUSIC TEACHER; MR HAMBURG!
I wish I could always be with you. Wrapping my arms around you I constantly think about you. I miss you and I love you! Good Morning my Sweetheart You are my life, You are my everything A day without you Is like a day without sunshine I love you! Good Morning You are one special girl You can take my breath away With you, I can look forward to tomorrow I forget all the sadness and sorrow. I love you, dear. Good Morning A morning text does not simply mean, “Good morning.” Rather, it comes with the silent loving message, “I think of you when I wake up.” Good Morning my dear.
YES, I even like to write kiddies poems. Try saying this after a few bourbans.
I haven't put any of my lyrics in verses, bridges, etc. because I didn't think people would really want to read the same part over and over again. Each of my lyrics I post is basically the two verses; the bridge/break, pre-chorus, post-chorus and the chorus each once. I see I've turned into a bit of a serial poster so I'll give it a rest after this one.
