In quiet of the night, my love, you softly doze, Your head upon my shoulder, in peaceful repose. As you breathe so gently, my simple joy is redefined Our heartbeats together, my love, our bodies intertwined. Sleep in my embrace, my dear let ev

You see, or you don't see me. I am there, not sad, not happy. You read, or do not read me. Love is there, not coming and not going. You love or do not love me, love is there, no increase or decrease. You follow, or do not follow me.
Weirdly enough I am good today

It's so far back I cannot recall what lead to me writing this, but it could have been because I was in a funny mood, with nothing more to do so thought I'd sit down and be creative, lol.
I fear if I run out of ink my thoughts will cease to flow, No longer free to roam around where they desire to go. Caught up in a stasis as my mind begins to congeal, Severed from my senses I find I can no longer feel. The proo

Your eyes know that I have waited so long, as I have waited for summer for a bird, and slept like the sleep of a migrant.

This poem is about choices we all must make to feel whole or just needing to take a break.
Don't want just for now, I 'm looking for forever. I wanna burn Lady burn, in the way you make me shiver. Just being held in your arms, Is where I wanna be. make me burn Lady, burn. Dont ever set me free. I don't just want your body, I wa

In this golden haze, where dreams come alive, A world unseen, where fantasies reside. Thoughts and visions converge in harmony, An ethereal landscape, where desire sets us free. We're exploring the realm of our dreams tonight, Hope and passion
A poem about period/menstruation from a person with hypothyroidism. I wrote it because I believe talking about menstruation should not be a taboo. I'm totally fine, just want to try to create a poem.
A strange lady slips through the haze, Her thoughts, a kaleidoscope ablaze, Mysterious questions lingering within, A meeting of minds about to begin. A strange lady, full of wonder, In a world where words collide, In shadows of moonlight she

I wrote this poem as a reflection of my longing for someone who stole my heart
I have noticed that many poets get no comments at all. in most sites there are dedicated greeters that welcome new poets Please remember that you were once new and encourage others. As for the new poet you too should comment on others By doing so you will make new friends and be encouraged And yes even inspired by their works so breathe a little life into this site all it needs is some care and respect for others.
I was looking trough the poems on here and I came across one of Gongdo's titled "Love Me" After reading it I sort deconstructed it . I did some restructuring some of Gongdo's wonderful phrases, added some new lines and ended up with "THE FOOL" Finally I'd like to thank Gongdo for his kind permission to make it public and post it here. Heel erg bedankt Gongdo. This one is has a bit of a stumbling rhythm, this is because It is based on the The tarot card of the fool, and he is stumbling along oblivious to danger. I would be interested in your honest opinion of of it.

Grieving from the Grave by Criostior.
Maybe... just maybe. Sighs... And I begin again to take my inner person out of the Ash and see if She's worth saving.
Many a poet had written of her beauty.. She was not unaware of the exotic whispers that blew through the snow covered forests that boardered the mighty castle Yet, somehow, the words of the poets fell deft on her lonely heart though they dre

Who would have known that a simple drive could start such a chain of events. A country road leading no where....time well spent. Watching as the miles go by. Like years in a life. I can honestly say its been a good ride. Low on gas not sure if
