I wrote this poem with thoughts of venturing again into new friendship, betrayal is very hard to overcome and leaves vunerabilty and mistrust, the tentitive steps toward new friendship can be like a cripple rising up from the wheelchair to take those first few shaky steps filled with apprehension and fear.
