My poem is on Love, unhappiness, when one is not in Love, and joy, when in Love.
What is it that you’re searching for? Is it love? Is it money? Maybe fame? Is it what you can buy or where you can live that gives meaning to the game? Is it the clothes you can wear or the cars that you drive that bring pleasure to the r

It always has been something that hurts deep insideof me. I think of how easy it is to forget those people that once were such a huge part of our lives.Im brought to mind my own dear mother, my nana, how much i loved them, but rarley do they cross my mind.Maybe it's Gods way of helping us move on..
I happened upon this poem 9 years ago,not long after my wife and I parted following 22 years together. It is from the book "Fallen Angels" by Scottish artist Jack Vettriano and features his early works of art together with Scottish writings.
An "empty-nesters" poem
This poem has some deep meaning to me I wrote it about the first girl I truely loved and knowing we will never be together again it was a way from me to just release that emotion.

I stopped and thought, and honestly I didn't know what to say. The one silly conclusion hanging in my mind was if there is so much of death, then it must be good! But then what is good? What is the Good? I looked at it. Something small, shining
I had gotten an odd present for my birthday. That was a huge box, covered in bright and shining paper, with a big red bow. I had been so curious and finally I decided to open the box next day. I was looking at it, fidgeting with it. Suddenly it s
This is inspired by the observation that the human race is inclined to avoid the unavoidable, that being their recognition of and their accountability to their maker and creator, GOD.
I want to leave this world Leave it all behind And I want to have wings, in case I decided to fly But I'd rather die, I'd rather die Than to have to face, another day And I want to make you cry, just cry It has to end this way Just set blac

If someone is nice to you but never comes to where you live it is a polite stranger If someone comes where you live and thanks you for inviting it is an acquaintance If someone comes to where you live and says “I’m home” it is a friend
I think God has got no name. He will not refuse to answer a widow's cry even if her tongues mistakenly calls Him Allahovah instead of Jehovah, Allah or Budha. I also believe that God is everywhere. He is too big for the box or a cathedral - not even the Basilica in Rome can contain His awesome essence.

I recall the instant that I breathed sweet air when I first held her and felt all joy that life offered the land that I landed in brought me aware of rewards far more dear than the pittance I proferred more than just a place, it was an experien
A poem about the transition from one phase of life to the next.
Bitter is the water I drink And shallow is my pool But my world seems upon the brink And thirsty is the fool So let this hate sustain my soul let anger wet my tongue let pain take its tole And wake me when its done let sorrow feed my sleep l
I love vampires.....
In my poem, I felt a bit unhappy, as it is now winter, miss summer, happy memories of love, romance, and sea-activities, like swimming, kayaking and fishing. Birds in the skies, trees, leaves, all describe the arrival of winter, especially, 'icy wind' indicates cold winter. I hope my poem gives some joy, as life reflects summer/winter...like happy days, and unhappy memories, that is life.
