PRICELESS

Torn canvases in an empty room
The pain inside this tomb
Soul shattered by crowd that booms
Shouting your weaknesses across streets so dense
You question yourself over and over inside your doom
To rise above your depleted strength and sense
To be transformed despite your glaring faults
When you can’t see any value in yourself, hearing taunts
When you can’t find any meaning in your life, only broken molds

Remember You Are PRICELESS, to the One who crossed all strife
He sacrificed all, your worth cannot be measured but grown
In Jesus Love, you are the shining beacon
In this engulfing haze, you are the lighthouse that glows

Rise above the screaming crowd
Rise above on angelic wings with the heavenly crown
Your victory is HERE, because He carries you
You are irreplaceable to God who loves you
Your life is a light to this world, free your mind from dark sounds
When the light is dim, and shadows surrounds
Open yourself, in His Healing power be Transformed

Rise above all the suffocating darkness, the noise
Hear His Voice when he tells you
He died and rose to show, You ARE VICTORIOUS
Your Hope is here, the brokenness He transforms
Let HIS light shine, to disperse the dark phantoms
Jesus’ Power and Glory is here for you in the storms.
Know in every moment, YOU are PRICELESS

DECIDE YOUR PAINTING

You realize suddenly, happiness is really yours
Your journey through life.... once a mix of chores
Whatever happened, you dig deep to learn why now?
Does it really really matter, or can you asked how.....

Every step taken, towards your working goal
Searching the moment, needing to feel whole
Until suddenly, you sense as spirit uplifted
Inner glow wraps you tight, emotionally gifted

Answer for me and others...following a dream
Along the way, meeting some who act mean
But those who truly care, need to be prepared
For crossroads, where those who truly cared

Hovered...aware the world is both good and bad
Better to smile, aim to never look unhappy-sad
As around every corner, good and hope is waiting
Life is a blank canvas, we the artist of life's painting

You're allowed to make mistakes, just learn as you go
Every day select a path, and pick the seeds to sow
Seeds need to be guided, make them healthy-strong
Hope each morning, makes you eager to paint and carry on.......

TENNIS: THE GREATEST GAME EVER

I personally feel the game of tennis is the greatest sport of all
start young and play til you're no longer able to see the ball
A truly enjoyable activity conducive to keeping ones-self fit
as you learn and improve you'll become addicted I guarantee it

Many love just playing while others I'd deem serious 'Tennis players'
I'm a tennis player who relishes playing against those with EGO in layers
When stepping out to compete on court I never consider I can't win
for some having confidence in ones skills isn't arrogance just no spin

Tennis elicited numerous phone calls from people I'd likely never meet
rubbing elbows with doctors, millionaires, and politicians was pretty neat
My Mantra 'Actions speak louder than Words' I have and will always proclaim
that said... I ascertained many are much much better at talking a good game

Excelling at tennis takes Agility, Ability, and grasping the art of playing smart
it's also very advantageous to know every facet of the game by heart
The camaraderie I've shared with the 'TRULY' genuine people I'll not forget
that part alone makes tennis worth it's weight in gold from where I sit

Winning isn't synonymous with hitting hard... it's consistency and being clever
the aforementioned and more makes 'TENNIS THE GREATEST GAME EVER'

About this poem:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE!! Each sentence is based on an actual experience. Some may seem arrogant, but you don't know the context. I have zero arrogance in my DNA. Seriously, there's enough arrogance in the Click I'm referencing to cover everyone.

Time Or Time Immortal

Scatter all the blossoms
What we desire most in life
Be it the rose or the nightingale
Or a child’s first spoken word
What more do we want from time
Birds and flowers flowing red
Imagery that does not illustrate
Or at night as we lie awake
Watching a moth and a candle
Waxen tears and singed wings
Both meeting an end becoming
Just a reflection in our eyes
Remembering where we came
Knowing where we are
And what more do we want
Time or time immortal

About this poem:
Like an ancient tapestry of unique images creates more than just an illustration, but a story; so does poetry of interwoven words and images that delight our minds or tickle our fancy.

Light From the Darkest Star (Paloma's Challenge)

Light from the darkest star shining on me
Travelling from blackest regions of space
Caught like the deepest creature in the sea
Wriggles in your net humble, needing grace

No longer hidden as I twist and turn
Shimmering light on my defenseless core
Trapped hopeless in the point of no return
Brings to surface what I try to ignore

There's no escaping great moments of truth
Twisting and turning my head in disgrace
Swimming in lies is really quite uncouth
When dimmest star light still shines on my face

Close to creation is found in the heart
Good love always sustains from the start

Words

Words speak many messages,
One might infer it one way,
The other another.
But the speaker or writer may
Want to convey
Something totally different.

Words are multi faceted
With a writer who is creative
It could create pictures,
Create vibes, create chaos,
Create despondency.
Create hope for things unknown.

But the absence of words
May convey even more greater meaning
For those pondering on silence
Trusting God's word
That all man's schemes be revealed
Even through the absence of words

WOMAN

Woman, rise up and assert your power
For generations you have been suppressed
Let the world know this is your hour
There are certain issues to be addressed

In dealing with areas of dispute
You tend to be much more tolerant
Making you more likely to find the truth
And well suited for management

You have shown in the field of education
Regardless of the area of learning
You can hold your own against men
Yet workplace equality is lacking

Woman, rise up and assert your power
For generations you have been suppressed

Janet Jackson

Went to Goodwill
What a thrill!
I usually go out of there empty handed
Feeling like an L on my forehead was branded
But
In the CD section I was browsing hoping for the most
When along came Luther Vandross
A song he did with a woman with hits by the ton
Her name was Janet Jackson
Brother Michael did better with a style came off as sometimes mean
With hits like Ben, Rock With You, and Billie Jean
This song didn't chart very high on the Billboard Charts
But still it is dear to my heart
Let's Wait Awhile, Nasty, Escapade, When I Think Of You were great
This song somehow put me in a state
Of pure joy
How can I explain it
Oh boy
Like Janet says at the beginning of the song
Are you ready?

Station Earth

Part of being a human being
Time when you’re alone
When you ask those questions
Does the grass look greener
Just over the fence
The sun is shimmering in late afternoon
Such is life in early spring
Wait and work all day
Just to see what life brings
Is it just companionship
That you most desire and sing
The most greatest achievement
To come home and be the greatest
In the eyes of those most dependent
What tomorrow will bring who knows
We’re just winging it tonight
So happy to let go of all that sorrow
Was a bird I just heard
A male robin in spring
Very determined in his call
To attract some attribute he brings
Let alone for all to cry
Of the earliest predators alive
Wings off at the mercy of time
When the earthworms shall move
And escape the late spring snows
That anyone of us will ever know
But by the courage you’ve shown
In each new step you take
Please always remember to
Look over your shoulder
You might think you be so nimble
You might be a perfect fake
But what really only matters
Between you and I is faith
Keep looking over your shoulder
For what you and I forsake
Will either bring us together
Or forever seal our fate

Moon

Fly me to the moon
Even if it’s on a spoon
I want to go up there and see
The light you shine down on me
You never let me down
Every night you come around
I want to dance
just you and me
Take me to the moon
I’ll sing you a tune
All afternoon
You mesmerized me
You are my prized light
I know tomorrow you will be around
You never let me down
My shinning light
I’m gonna say good night
For tonight
My ever-loving moon.
