A Sinner Like God

“I have forgiven mother”

She tarries with hope
that the good woman will pray her clemency for her own sins,
but that hour is expired;
Gee grew a strong wit
"Mother is no longer my burden"
Jesus came from hard conscience to corroborate her lies
The WORD written in black and white:
“Us twain is now one; for this reason I depart from her”
Three moons less than time in the safety of the womb is slight

In the past mother was necessity,
but she grew weary of the pace;
her birth city received her
The old Jewish woman was left
with stage three pressure ulcers
while the twain bender in Atlantic City
Their backsides were not masked by mother’s conformity
My mother's now defiant fingers work dutifully in another excrement,
goat stool in her callaloo garden

Before the recession, money was tossed in all directions;
I took hold of a few green ones.
She lived to outdo her alliance,
but high seat killed Miss. Thomas’ cat
Mother watched her outshone the Jones
The recession was never her downfall;
immorality got the better of her.
Jesus was overlooked
“put the WORD to work,
compensate the guardian of your youth”

She had to let a nation know how well off she was
Her enemies know her silver spoon was achieved
Her splurges buried ethics, and smiles were wide as graves
She let me know in scripts:
“A new being I am now; My shine is unlike years ago”
Vanity is not here in show, but her heart remains the same
Like the Jewish elder, mother is spurned
with bruising on her heart.

Thank You God

The poetry is in the being, not in the ryhm.
Although, at times its hard on the knees, I love being a Dad.
Thank you God for the wonderful gift you gave me, my son.

childrens life

look at you,
look at me,
life is mean,
life is free,
open eyes and you will see,
yard is full of scrap,
road of cars driving bye,
speed of light makes your life,
enjoy the moon light within your heart,
as it fills your heart of might,
all the words cant best describe,
the most important thing in life,
despise the courts and ex`s delights,
the most important thing in life,
is the children born beyond you in life,
the future and descendant of we all,
shall their life be free like mine,
lets all gather to raise them right,
gather as an almighty one tonight,
children saviors are their parents alright,
may we all grow as one.

Uncertainty

It’s like holding a Bundle of Joy
Not knowin’ if she’s really there
Or will despair
Be made clear
As the time draws near
This I fear
As I stare
At your captured image
That I live with
Hurt
Regret
And Pain
Love restrained
It feels strange
To hold what I can’t claim
Why must Life play these damn games?
Again I am stained
Another strain on my brain
Soul enflamed
My love is not tamed
But I must keep it at a distance
Like Hell from Christians
‘cause that pain I can’t live with
2 let it loose
And watch the Truth
Kill it
Then regret that I did it
Ain’t that a -------

MY FAMILY-LOVE UNKNOWN (All Rights Reserved)

Sixteen years of family crisis took it's toll on me,With no laughter,No love,I didn't know what a real family unit was meant to be,Searching.....Searching.....for answers though none came to me,My sanity was screaming,There ought to be a better place than here ! All i knew was tears, fear, and feelings of sadness,Listening to angry hearts year after year,Forever crying,Someone help me ! Hold me ! I need love !,So i prayed to the good lord above,I left home after sixteen years,What an almighty relief it was for me,I am free now !Yes free ! To search for my inner peace that i needed to restore my sanity and the day that i left was a whole new begining for me. Written by robyn bashford.....25.6.2001.....re edited...19.6.2011.....

Christmas Presents

Eyes bright, wide, alight
Round the Christmas tree
Mum, Dad, let us see
What Santa's brought for me

A fire truck with sirens loud
And a hat that goes with it
A fire chief I can be
And pretend in the truck I'm sitting

A helicopter black and shiny
High in the air I'll fly
Down below the people wave
As I go passing by

A submarine so I can dive
Deep below the sea
And watch the fish
Swim all around

But most of all
Please Mummy and Daddy
Let the new baby be
A boy for me to play with

LOVELY_HEART

may pray

May I pray this night while the stars are out.
May I close my eyes and see the beauty of heaven.
May I pray to the one I love...
who gave me life and created me..

........................................

i was once a sad, sad man
with no where to go without a plan.
a man like me was full of dispair
i always thought to myself life isnt fair.
i woke one day to realize its untrue
why spend your days feeling blue.
you see i raise my daughter all by myself
shes all i live for, why have i felt.
so bad for myself is not a way of life,
a better life is worth the strife.
shes the one i live for,
why would i need more.
i feel better these days you should see,
life is about her and not about me.

For you God daughter

For you, Goddaughter

It was a very special day
The call arrived out of the blew
Filled with an unspeakable joy
The reason I was overjoyed was you!

Your dad is my brother
And the best without a doubt
He is a very special man
One I could not live without.

Through your life he will be your hero
There through everything you do
Sharing every smile along the way
And he will be there for hard times too.

Your parents asked me to be your godmother
Something I never thought I would hear
My life is along way from perfect
But is so much better with you here.

I took a pledge on your christening day
To always do my best by you
And that promise I will always uphold
And I will be here for your brothers too.

You have brought so much joy to my life
And I treasure watching you grow
Just how much you have given me
No words can ever show.

HERES A ROSE FOR YOU

Can not find the words to tell you
How much I love you.
So Mother heres a rose for you!
I try so hard to show you
with kisses and hugs.
It's not enough so,
Mother heres a rose for you!
I hope you understand.
Mother you are the
Rose in my life.
I know your heart is filled with love for me.
And every day I watch it bloom!
So Mother heres a rose for you!
