~Into a new world~

new life grows, cellular divide. Epidermis cover protects all thats within. Gestation, procreate glow of warmth face exude's. First time ever to nurture shared new life. Her body adjusts to nature's control. Little feet restless kick in the night. Smiling in sleep, morning tummy's just not right. Midwife's been called, water has broke, tiny life arrives, they lay arm in arm ... smiled eye to eye not a word said. Love that they shared one night..... has now become three~

From Me to You

There will be times when you are down
There will be times when you don't want to go on.
There will be times when you've lost your ground
There will be times when you feel all alone.
There will be times when you want to cry
Lay down and just wonder why.
But know that I am a thought away
Pick up the phone I will come to you any day
Cross the mountains and the sea
Nothing could stop little ol' me.
I will help you find your way
All you have to is say.
And I will help you to face your day.
There is no problem that is to great.
That we can't fix with a little fishing bait.
Grab a pole and I will grab the gear.
Don't forget the case of beer.
Let your troubles stay behind.
And we will use this time
And find. Another way to look at things.
And what your life can bring.

About this poem:
Written for my son. I had a friend remind me of what my son is going thru right now. My son lives far from me. And he knows what I say in the poem already.

The Cage

The cage
Is invisible
But it really lock me tightly

The cage
Is made from resposibility and obligation
Is made from clear conscience

The cage
Will be melted by true love
will be melted by time

The cage
Will be thrown into the deep sea
Will be driven away by the tidewater

Sooner or later

Faithfulness

There is a certain faith of which I am particularly fond
Not one in which I find fulfillment in ignorance
Where promised luxury and happiness abound
But rather from a stark and real sense of wealth

Not so simple as faith in money, tho
That is not where I find my consolation
This life is far too short for such a thing
As embarrassing and meaningless as fiscal power

To know that she maintains her faithfulness
To reward the efforts I have attempted
Which, in the same way, cannot be bought
But only given to one they feel is so worthy

This, in return, strengthens my resolve
That I may be her rock and fortress
And my confidence the steel threshold
For the gate through which she takes refuge

About this poem:
Have you considered, perhaps, not only whom you place your faith in, but who might place their faith in you?

Reason for My Rhyme

My life was like a rhyme with no reason,
An unfinished phrase.
In my song, there was no melody,
Always an uneven pace.

No fires to start, not even a flame.
Dull moments were there always,
No one with whom to play a game.

Then something happened, you came along.
You brightened my day,
And gave me a song.

You gave me a rhyme,
A point at the end of my phrase.
My song will never be wrong again,
Not now, nor the end of my days.

Now the fires burn within me,
There are always great flames.
Life is so exciting,
Never-ending are the games.

You, my son, have made my life,
Fully and so complete.
I thank God for you and I love you,
From your head to your tiny cute feet.

My daughter…

My daughter…

My daughter once gave me a heart,
A heart full of love and tenderness,
A heart full of trust and respect,
A heart that spoke to me of a dad…

A dad, who cared,
A dad, who loved,
A dad, who taught,
A dad, who was patient,
A dad, who was always there.

Wherever you go dad,
Carry this heart with you, she said,
To remind you of me.
My daughter, my daughter, where are you?
I miss you!

Till the end of time…

A song to someone very special.
25/05/2002

Till the end of time…

The thought of you makes me smile,
Till the end of time…
The love of you fills me with warmth,
Till the end of time…
The touch of you makes my world complete,
Till the end of time…
The sound of your voice fills the void in my universe,
Till the end of time…
Your happiness is my delight,
Till the end of time…
Your sadness is my melancholy,
Till the end of time…
Your health is my vigour,
Till the end of time…
Your laughter is my mirth,
Till the end of time…
Your success is my pride,
Till the end of time…
Time may end one day, but my love for you will not,
Till the end of time…
But, most importantly,
Whatever you are, whoever you may become,
I will always love you,
Till the end of time…
Who are you?
You’re my daughter, all six of you!

Until Now

we really never got along
when we were young you rejected me
we really never acted like sisters
for what happened when you neglected me
I never forgave you
until now
~ ~ ~
I realize you were young yourself
you wanted to play with your friends
it was not your fault, I didn't know
I need to make amends
forty years wasted
until now
~ ~ ~
please know I've forgiven you
you are very ill, your heart stood still
just for a moment
you are in a coma again
I didn't know I love you
until now
~ ~ ~
I will pray for you
and for another chance to be a sister
close like sisters should be
I hope we will be able to
I didn't know I would miss you
until now

Baby Girl

I shouldn't call you my baby girl
but that is what you are to me
with a strong head full of curl
you were wild as a tomboy should be

you were always curious about life
I taught you as best as I could
about people, love, and like
values, morals and respect
religion and riding a bike

I let you get away with a lot
too much trust I admit
hoping you would decide like you should
still knowing I couldn't count on it

I don't like the life that you're living
and I will tell you whenever we talk
just look around at what you are missing
clear your head girl go for a walk

now you don't answer my text nor my call
I have to let you grow up on your own
cannot be there to pick you up when you fall
I just hope you won't be alone

we all have to make our own mistakes
everything happens for a reason right?
life lessons learned whatever it takes
you need to fight your own fight

I wish I could hold and protect you
like I did when you were younger
you a big girl you know what I taught you
and when the time is right you'll remember

Role Model

Action figures, Role models one in the same.
Bringing kids up on violence is this not insane!
Tattered troubled teens sent out on the streets
Of course they're stealing to have things to eat

Its apparent its a parent causing this child more harm
Impatiently waiting love that will never come from their arms
Mistakes made, joyously. With time due to come
Karma came as planned Understand where from.

Parents never make it leaving these kids behind
Causing so many problems inside erasing a stable mind
