~~~~~~THE TASTE OF A CUPCAKE~~~~~~~
CupcakeS all sweet and yummy, fresh baked from the oven
with sweet smooth frosting oh so yummy it is to eat...
some like it with chocolate frosting
then others like it as it is.....
It is hard to make a mistake,
When there are so many kinds to make
And different ways to decorate,
And lots of places to take
But be careful so they do not break
And you wont have to remake
Then you can partake
Without giving yourself a headache
that is why my favorite desert is cupcakes.
the vanilla flavor it is of the taste for the liking it
is the cupcake we love to eat.....
My favorite desert is cupcakes
They are so much fun to bake
Bariatrics
Obesity is a Disease?
And how is that so, if you please?
We are what we eat, are we not?
Some eat a little, and some eat a lot.
Some work their buns off, and some won’t do squat.
So put it together, and what have you got?
Or does it fall out of the air,
unknown until now and at once everywhere?
It this thing contagious by touch or by genes?
Or glands out of balance, whatever that means?
Is that why it’s spreading to children and teens?
Now Medicare flatly decrees
Obesity is a Disease.
So taxpayers pay for a magical cure
instead of a thing that would do it for sure,
like rations of food that are miniature,
as if it cost money and people were poor.
The junk-food that isn’t nutritious
is fatty and bariatricious,
no better than paper, the research has found,
expensive as hell by the dollar-per-pound.
So why not eat money? Is that more unsound?
CRAZY...FRUIT OR VEGETABLE?
CRAZY...FRUIT OR VEGETABLE?
(c) Copyright 2009
Crazy?
Fruit or Vegetable?!
What would she taste like?
What would her many flavours be?
And who would take a bite?
I'm a crazy onion
Many layers to reveal
The deeper that you delve inside
As Crazy's onion's peeled
I'm a crazy carrot
I can mend your sight for you
I can open up your eyes
Help heal your minds sight too
I'm a crazy beetroot
With intensity of color
But my creative juices leave a stain
Like crazy's of no other
I'm a crazy lemon
With the lemon flower so sweet
But do not break me open
Sometimes a sour, bitter treat
I'm also a crazy orange
Delicious juices flowin'
Delectible creativeness
Our crazy is a showin'
I'm a crazy passionfruit
The passion fruit of love
Send tingles up and down your tongue
Gods necter from above
I'm a crazy apricot
Split me down the middle
Take a look now at my core
A very complex riddle
I'm a crazy cherry
luscious to ones hungry lips
Taste my deep rich redness
But watch out for cherry pips
I'm a crazy potato
Sometimes buried in the ground
Where darkness is the master
Beneath an earthen mound
I'm a crazy legume
Some would call a nut
Crack my shell right open
You'll see nuts and nothing but
I'm a crazy chili
So spicy and so hot
I can leave an aftertaste
That really hits the spot
I'm a crazy tomato
Blushing soft and delicate
Please dont squeeze or leave a bruise
Just sit me on your plate
I'm a crazy pumpkin
of certain evil traits
Which symbolizes halloween
For the next one i cant wait
I'm a crazy vegetable
Or a crazy juicy fruit
But this i can assure you
I'm a crazy absolute!
I'm a crazy garlic
I will take your breath away
I will leave such an impression
That you'll want me back someday
I'm a crazy kiwi fruit
covered in brown fuzz
But taste my very heart
And i will give your mouth a buzz
I'm a crazy apple
The original man's sin
Take one a day, keep doc away
Its tempting to begin
I'm a crazy parsnip
I have a bland and boring side
Sometimes i lose my flavour
On the plate, pushed to the side
I'm a crazy cabbage
For some, I just make wind
But thats ok cause even
Crazy's wind has got you pinned!
I'm a crazy pineapple
All prickly up the top
But oh taste my sweet soul
You'll never want to stop
I'm a crazy strawberry
A favourite fruit of choice
One taste of purest sweet delight
With creamy textured voice
I'm a crazy fruit salad
A blend of harmony
Different flavours delight
A taste treasure chest, you see
I'm a crazy vege melody
All tossed 'round in a bowl
All combined together
And its what makes crazy whole
I'm a crazy combination
A unique recipe
Take the time to taste my friends
Enjoy and you will see :)
Platter
Wait, do not move, you made me hungry, Honey,
I will design a platter on your tummy...
I start with bacon, then I add salami,
Cheese, grapes, stuffed olives, lettuce...
yummy!
Home Kill
I came upon the Tomatoe
Sleeping beside the silver beet
From the freezer I took out out the mince
OH MERTL
How wonderful your meat.
dill pickles
When I bite down on your plump bumpy skin,
the taste of salty tang makes my soft palate sing.
your crunchy style with juices oozing through the cracks of my lips. Dribbling down my chin to gently drop upon my breast.
OH DILL PICKLES I LOVE YOU THE BEST!!
The Marmite Effect
“Love It or Hate It"
Brewer’s yeast, fermented
sugars into alcohol
before 1680 discarded
then, with salt added
hypertonic, broken down
now, loved or hated by all
concentrated, packaged
by Liebig for people to eat
as small earthenware pot
stores this hearty breakfast treat
with dark secrets blended
to whet morning’s appetite
from UK via Sanitarium
New Zealand transformed, thick
black, savoury, potassium-rich, too
sugar, caramel, added to enhance
bringing its weaker, less
tangy taste from NZ to you.
then, gutted by fire in ’66
now, earthquake-shaken
damaged processing plant
threatened as morning’s staple
rises to NZ$100 per jar
twenty times usual price
distilling to culinary sacrifice.
Warm-toast advice given
to make it go farther
savoury vita-spread with ease
on hot buttered crumpets
Avert panic, focus to store
Yeast extract rises to please
icon should remain
if brand can sustain
taste in minds, as stock
from shelves away does fly
Marmite Squeeze Me
should…will, to you, make its way
by July, if Paddington Bear
has anything to say.
Wrote this back in March when I read about the Marmite shortage.
So, has it made it back onto the shelves?
Home
There's a a place that I know
Outside of town
Theres a place that I go
Outside of town.
Over the mountain
Down a dusty ol' road
Under shade of tall trees
I drive real slow
To catch the cool breeze
And begin to unload
The cares of the day
Cuz I know that soon
Not far up the road
Is the pretty little place
That I call my home
There's a place that I know
Outside of town
There's a place that I go
Outside of town
Over the mountain
Down a dusty ole road
My sweetheart's a waitin
At the top of the hill
At the pretty little place
That I call my home
When I see her blue eyes
My heart goes to meltin
As I hold her and kiss her
And tell her I love her
She asks how my day went
I say alright I guess
But when I'm at home
Its always the best
Cuz there's a place that I know
Outside of town
There's a place that I go
Outside of town
Over the mountain
Down a dusty ole road
Is a pretty little place
That I call my home
A prayer
I need to drink the water from a deeper well.
My spirit is hungry these days and I am restless.
Its time to open up the book of memories wherein are written the
chronicles of our souls and remember from whence I came.
I will ask my Angel to read it me until the waters of rememberance
flood the dusty earth of my dry and cracked heart.
I shall drown in tears of joy and remember my sorrows no more when I
see His holiness in the garden of pomegranates.
When I am refreshed by the beauty of the latter rains,
I shall truly be revived. Selah.
Chinese food
Stir fry
Stir fry
Give me some of that Stir Fry
I want some small ears of corn
they fill my soul
How about a crispy egg roll
Sweet and sour sauce
Duck sauce
Put it right on
Take a nice wonton
Don't use the fork
It really is too quick
Use a pair of chop sticks
I like the vegetables and meat
It's so juicy
But you can keep your sushi
Peace!
Word to your wok
