Paula (age 4)
Paula Lee, Interlectual potential
If you don't read her books well
She can tell
If you leave out the essential.
Paula (age 8)
Gentle eyes and a loving smile
With listening ears all the while
A love for books that surpass all things
Jewellery, lollies and diamond rings.
Perhaps she'd fast and pray one day
For more books to come her way.
Books on Archie, the Bible and Media
Books on Jokes, Teaching and Encyclopedias
Always jotting down things to remember
Right from January to December.
Bits of paper scattered wherever able
From cieling to floor to kitchen table.
Ever important for her game
With visions of a teaching Fame.

~ Eau De Vie ~
Rich golden brown,
plush as velvet,
a scorch of heat,
a delicacy percolating in your mouth,
flavor to be savored .
My nicknames Brandy,
I've a flare of class,
when poured in a glass,
best absorbed in timely fashion,
I'm no other then a shot of Cognac.

had an egg with
salt and pepper
put it on a piece of bread
it was kinda good
wasn't even breakfast
had a glass of milk
made my skin smooth as silk
now it's dinner
i know its gonna be good
cause i'm gonna eat that
cow and hen
with salt and pepper.

The rule says "That's the way it must be"
Exception says "I have a better repartee"
The rule says "It's always been that way"
Exception says "Maybe before, but not today"
The rule says "We've been over this again and again"
Exception says "Over before, this time we'll refrain"
The rule says "You won't know what'll occur"
Exception says "Didn't know exactly, before"
The rule says "It'll never work correctly"
Exception says "We can find out directly"
The rule says "I take exception to your assertion"
Exception says "All I offer is compelling coercion"
The rule says "You know there'll be hell to pay!"
Exception says "Don't worry, you know, it'll be okay"

The sign outside the diner said
"with our world-famous chicken"
imagining heels, cane, and top hat
singin', dancin' like the dickins
Coming out of her cool bath
she patted down and powdered
then she got fired up spicy
dipped battered dusted floured
Her pan-tomime was crisp
her personality a bubblin'
until she's simmerin' juicy
with her top all uncoverin'
Remember that famous chick 'n'
the bit that hot hen did
without a leg to stand on
saucy whence on tongue she slid
A full-feathered fan dancer
she laid it all out before me
did a duet with ol' Texas Pete
as good to taste as is to see
I can't tell you no lies
I love her taste, her savoir-faire
she's really got some tasty thighs
for this man's hungered love affair
