Don't Judge Me

I may not speak with the finesse of a writer
My words may not touch your heart
But, don’t judge me

I may be in a wheelchair unable to move my legs
Not able to run as fast as you
But, don’t judge me

I may wear dirty and torn clothing as I sit on the curb
Begging for help or shelter
But, don’t judge me

I may have sold my body, to a man, to survive
To have a bit of food to eat
But, don’t judge me

I may have eyes, red-rimmed from all my tears
Shed for no reason that you are aware
But, don’t judge me

The things that you have seen do not make the person within
You do not know my story if you do not take the time
So, please, do not judge me

About this poem:
Venting a bit about those who jump to conclusions based solely upon what they see physically in a person. Sometimes a simple are you okay or is there something I can help you with is all a person needs and the inquisitive judging glares from those who know nothing...well let's just say they anger me.

70

As I enter the decade of death
and plan for endless dreamless sleep
certain as Earth turning from light to night
I recall the spiritual seasons of my life:
hope exploding from an atmospheric prism
joy blazing through the gold lens of a star
adventure adrift with leaves on the wind
crystallized languor frozen in place

despite flickering memoirs of bliss
like sparkling sunshine through breaks
in a cloud-crowded sky of indigo blue
my mind rewinds moments of pain
as if highlights from a constant cinema
featuring every being I have known
in need, love, abuse, joy, and sorrow--
tragicomedy worthy of a reckless writer

aware now of each heartbeat
and wondering which will be my last
I mourn the loss of life in brain and brawn
but mostly bemoan what might have been
had I the prudence to expect events
occurring around the next twist or turn
events that make all the difference
for that extraordinary chance to exist

but regret is a poison potion
that lowers the view below the horizon
and prevents a vision of goodness
a revelation too often lost in fancy
for I must know that as a mere man
I can no more change my story
than stop the stretch of shadows
draping the angles off a redwood tree

and my meager human existence
for all its erratic blinking in the dark
is meaningless in the cosmoscape
but for any benefit I have bestowed
for the good of other living things--
fellow mortals who dwelt with me
on this grand sphere for blips in time
and finally disappeared in the dust

Sorry

She called to say she's sorry
She wants us to remain
of course I let her back with me
I just hope it can be the same
I really love her dearly
that much I know is true
for when she broke us off
I felt pain I never knew
so I'm glad now that shes back with me
and all my pain is done
to me she is everything
and that shes the only one

Forgiveness

I made a mistake awhile ago
An expressed myself out loud
Directed it at a lovely lass
From who's dire life she felt proud
She travelled seven seas to be with me
An only then it was known
The mistake i'd made awhile ago
Had now really grown
For us to be together
Changes had to be made
But how do you change something
That is significantly engraved
The mistake we made you see was
To be blinded by desire
Never to see the other side
That happened to fuel this fire
For like two rams we did engage
Trying to win just what?????
It made the friendship sour
Quicker than a lot
Amazing how i have learnt
The value of a sole
It took six months an 6000 klms
For me to share my goal
I wish not to hurt anyone
In my search for a love true
An i know that saying sorry
Will just never do
But sorry is all i have
An it comes from deep within
An a friendship born from a love torn
Must surely not be a sin

"Careless Whispers"

Slander is slander! Have you ever let your tongue wander? Umm,I wonder.
Writing untruths onto paper can be very undesirable, especially when you turn your pen to liable.

The smallest of untrue words can eat and grow, destroying the purest of souls. Lies about another can be passed from one to the other adding or subtracting as they deliver their slack.

Self gratification is all that they seek, lie's spewing from their mouths as soon as they speak. "All this in today's civilization",I beg to question, especially when defamation of character enters the equation.

When as yet you hear of another being slandered,be it a stranger or even your brother, just take the time to ponder of the undue damage it could conjure. Are we capable of doing so? Umm,I wonder!

About this poem:
I went through a very bad experience of lies being spread about me because of someone else's jealousy. When such lies are spread they can stick into the mindset of certain individuals,(usually the narrow minded). I have myself been guilty of half believing rumours. But through this bad experience I have learnt not to take things on face value. I hope my poem will help us as individuals not to take too much notice of rumours, until they are factually proven. WILLINGNESS

November 29, 2010

A word we might say or read on the page,
often passes through us undigested.
The lack of it poisons relationships,
for without it our hearts aren’t invested.

Resentments, old baggage, lingering fear;
the head and ego do battle once more.
Our unresolved issues keep us adrift.
We see the prize, but we’re miles from shore.

One day we all run out of excuses...
The fact is, we each must suffer to grow.
It’s truth and pain that brings us to our knees,
face to face with ourselves...then our soul.

For all the times we neglected by choice,
answers intended to show us the way;
might we find in silence, stillness and prayer.
a measure of strength and wisdom each day.

When anger no longer rules our emotions,
WILLINGNESS can then merge with honesty.
The language of surrender and freedom
might become one’s path to serenity.

EXTRACTION

He took her body
She took his money
He forgets to praise
She always request a raise
They come together
When they need each other
Always for extraction
None remembered the attraction

She met someone who really looked
He met someone who cooked
She requested his attention
Her qualities he always mention
They then realized sad to say
They would have parted anyway
Final extraction was done
But this one they viewed with fun

Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a gift we receive,
And freely we must give it too,
To prove to Him we do believe,
Forgiveness also works for you.

When a friend stabs your back,
Do not turn and choose to attack;
But smile and take up his slack
To show the faith you do not lack.

When you forgive it then returns,
For your heart is then lightened
While given the freedom it yearns
And your mind is then enlightened.

But someone you may overlook
Is one you may be least kind to;
For mistaken paths that you took;
The one you forgive must be you.

The Story of Love

i know to you, im just another guy,
bottem of the list prepared,
to me your an angel, not in disguise,
ill never forget the times we shared,

we laughed, we smiled, we even loved,
where did it all go wrong,
but like a used book, away ive been shoved,
i just wish that it was as long,

as long as the world from beginning to end,
as long as the countless minutes,
but no, its over, i cant pretend,
i just wish i was still in it,

theres no possible words to atone for my sins,
but there will always be this feeling,
i appolagize for everything, my hearts in a bin,
i deserve it all, but the rest im fearing,

all the promises that never came true,
the hopes and dreams you shattered,
it all got better once i met you,
im back to the same, now beaten and tattered,

i can tell you the story in a matter of minutes,
but the ending is always true,
i dont regret not seeing the end,
but it will always end with "i loved you"

~~IT IS OKAY TO LET GO NOW~~

Well we can take the good with Bad
To smile with the Sad
Even Love what we got and remember what you had,
I will always forgive however, never will forget,
We all learn from the main mistakes wow never to regret,
For some people they change and then something may go wrong. Lastly want you to remember something forever
Just to remember, That Life will go on without you or me~~~
