Bad Prognosis.

He stared at me with ashen face,
A miserable handshake too,
Before his mouth could spew the words,
"Results not good" .....I knew.
Prognosis on a mere sheet of paper,
My body returning to mud,
Written in red I'm reading in tears,
His handwriting...my warm blood.
In haste my fate did travel,
Fast on the wings of bad news,
Warped and distorted my story broke free,
As the truth landed battered and bruised.
One fatal mistake they all did make,
In predicting my impending doom,
That power belongs to God in his Heavens,
So I haven't yet ordered my tomb.

Sleep poem

Unsheath the silence
a mirrored lake in the cypress night
lay me down, lay me down
still beneath the boughs

life's serpentine course
just whorls to ponder
in days given freely
so shall sleep accompany me
accompany me lightly
drift, drift...

(snore) :)

Ned Wanted A Nibble

Ned could have taken his basketball to dribble
But Ned just wanted a nibble
Just to pass the time
Though dribbling wouldn't cost him a dime
Ned found it easier to eat
Cakes, crackers and chips and other things sweet
So he sat watching Oprah and this and that
While Ned did grow quite fat
And as he grew and grew he would watch shows
About ways to lose weight
But his weight just grows
Ned spent money on infomercials promising success
But three months later his body would still be a mess
Now Ned is lonely, depressed and worried
Because of Doritos, Mt. Dew, McChickens and McFlurries
Whoppers, M+M's, Subway, Tacos, Arby's, and Pizza Hut
Ned was addicted to food that rotted his gut
You'll find Ned sitting right now
Eating, drinking, and watching TV like a cow
Ned is growing and growing beyond 200 pounds
On cheese, sausage, buttered popcorn and Taco John's hashrounds
Ned could have taken a basketball to dribble
But Ned just wanted a nibble

About this poem:
A problem that is quite literally growing and growing and growing. When I went to school in the 80's, you could count the fat people on one hand. Now you would probably need the hairs on your head!

fire light

By the flames of the coals fire light
Granny sits in her old rocking chair
Back and for she rocks her chair
Her faithfull pal her only friend sitting on her lap

Tibby his name old he now his
Her old faith cat her only friend
The chimming clock marks her time on earth counting down the hours the days

Her old black and white telly hisses to be played
Dark the room hides the decay. Un loved the room
The decay fills the room the curtains drawn with partial light emitting
Lighting parts or the room

The dust thickend she has wrote her name in the long lasting dust
Old she is her failing body unable to dust and clean her youth washed away never to be restored for now her home is left to decay
Unwanted unloved by her family and friends

For now she alone and her companion the cat live in decay

Entirety

Entirety

How is it that the beautiful of this land, can never see what we all can?
They look at hips and look at face and wish they could just erase
I look and such perfection, assembled in a heavenly collection
Not to big not to small, not to short not to tall, just perfect in your all
Why is it that you cannot see what is plain as day for all to see
I am to old, to fat I wish I could change this, I wish I could change that
Step back and look and see what friends, family and others can see
You in your beautiful entirety

JUST FOR YOU

GET UP! DO SOMETHING!Shake those shakles
Of abuse, of pain, of loneliness or whatever
Make a move because it is all up to you
No one can break those chains
Ease that pain or guide you through it all
You have the POWER, it is all in YOU
FIND IT!
TAKE IT!
USE IT!
TREASURE IT!
NEVER LOOSE IT!

GET UP! DO SOMETHING! Liberate the warrior inside
Now is not the time to hide behind weak excuses
You are strong, brave and most of all worthy
You are the most special person in the universe
No one can take that away from you
It is who you are and who you were meant to be
UNDERSTAND THAT!
KNOW THAT!
BELIEVE THAT!
PORTRAY THAT!
NEVER FORGET THAT!

GET UP! DO SOMETHING! Do it for you
Do it because you want to for yourself
And enjoy every moment of it
Forget what the world may say or think
This action is yours and yours alone
And only YOU matter in the equation
YOU DESERVE IT!
YOU HAVE EARNED IT!
YOU CAN DO IT!
YOU MUST HAVE IT!
YOU ARE YOU AND NO ONE ELSE!

Treat you special it is the least you deserve.

Bi-Polar

My life has been like a yo-yo
extreme ups and downs
one minute I’ve felt on top of the world
other times I don’t want to be around
I formed this strange depression
after all the battles in my life
just trying to keep happy
each time I went under the knife
now my heads bit funny,
It goes off balance all the time
one minute I can be crying
the next I could be fine
I don’t like having what I have
but I’m not angry with this thing
for I am still happy in my sadness
because I like what life can bring
so i will stick out my problem
although many of us quit
I just don't want to look back
and say s..t was that life it
although my life’s a battle
its also been good too
I have great friends and family
and a supporting lady i love right through
i think we have to step back
appreciate the special things in this place
so I will continue down my path
with this true smile on my face

About this poem:
Many people you wouldn't know suffer from this problem,
It can be brought on by many different ways, mine through battles
of operations i've fought in my life,
it can get dangerous to oneself if not treated so just take care
of yourselves!

Untitled

In a memory of places that you’ve been
But are no longer
Like a foreign country where you once settled
And absorbed every level of light
What stays with you is an awareness of perfection
The oxygen of the knowledge and experience of balance

In the memory is the eternity of health
Health that waits for you when you are busy
Inside of life and its momentum
The memory waiting, that never goes away
There because it has a home within the health that you share

There in this memory there is the inevitable pain
The pang of desire for things no longer within an arm’s length of you
A street you once used to frequent
A monument that once used to repeat itself in shadows
as you walked by on your way to the conservatory
A bakery where you used to pick up a teacher’s favorite treat
The spontaneous positions of a river constantly changing levels
where you would prop yourself atop the 'banksteps to have your lunch
wherever it would let you

And as the richness of the present increases,
Your private presence built by memory upon memory,
The significance of those characters--
That happened to be there once upon a time--
Shrinks to its rightful size
And the new people you meet
You only manage to bring to this best new position
Where everyone is a distant perfect observable picture that can never disappear
Never leave
Each inhabiting the new place involuntarily
Each forced to leave petty motivations behind

And as you harvest of them they harvest of you
And you pray
That the machines that keep us together
Will forever grace us
With this touchless
push and pull
When we are
ever and again

Lost Never To Be Found

Lost, never to be found. Time for the circus to come into town.
Everyone wears a smile. While I'm hidden behind a mask of a frown. Around and round. Someone help me off this merry go round. In so deep. No chance of ever being found. My God I'm sinking about to drown. Watch as my broken heart falls into pieces to the ground. I'm screaming yet nobody hears a single sound. Buried alive. How hard does my heart pound?

My heart and soul are dipped into an ocean of teardrops. Seems like this sadness never really ever stops. Here I am bound by the planet Mars. Somehow found by the greatness of stars in a universe of pain. Only to be lost and not found yet once again.

To Your Good Comfort & Joy!

Though it may seem only judgment in psychology
I'm really assisting The "Body" in it's assimilation of "nutrients"
in THE SPIRIT,you see.
The rational thought process;opening our attunement to the influence of our divine nature
Being on "the wheel" in THE WILL,
with my rewarding honorable Harp gift
you can see the ripple effects are working out a cure as we all experience the Last Days' shift!
