Suffering

I know this pain won't
last forever,
but then again maybe
it will.
Mind over body
maybe
But as I look out
the sill;
from my bed tears begin
to form.
I must be
stronger,
yet I am more
worn.
The words of fellow
poets
Caress my heart.
Another mountain
to climb
And I know it.
My spine screeches at me
Shut up brain.
but I will not listen
It is insane.
Always push forward
Chin up
Eyes ahead.
You have many more
roads to travel,
HE said.

the weight of the world

just how much does this world weigh?
when we're standing on a mountaintop
depends on our location you'd say
different at the bottom of Mariana drop

strictly physical parametrical laws
cannot outweigh those emotional jaws
that grab us, grip us, tight in hand
and send our hearts to another land

where smiles are gone, burdened, bent
the weight beyond what Atlas can bare
a souls depressed tangential descent
even gods can't overcome that despair

melancholia bears a universal weight
everyone on the planet knows the feeling
millions of humanity do deeply relate
grief and sadness sets souls to reeling

and forces us to carry, if only awhile
the weight of the world, too many miles
yet the heavy burden can be put aside
and level horizons viewed and applied

techniques are many to betray it's gravity
toward happier days with family and friends
defeating diabolical depressions depravity
so melancholia concludes, a means to end

"3"

3 palm trees standin' by a wall
3 blind men thought they'd seen it all
3 dogs bark at a thief in the night
3 diamond rings left in the perps' sight
son of a b*tch give 'em back

you never know when the tide will turn
you never know when it's what you've got to learn
catastrophic situations are rarely all that bad
instantaneous allegations only lead to sad
son of a b*tch take it back

always someone's got it worse
always someone's felt the curse
leprechauns and dwarfs still think they're tall
illusions of grandeur always lead to a fall
son of a b*tch watch your back

an illustration of an hallucination with imagination at a crawl

This is my song!

I am the ruler of this court
Hear what I say
Listen to me
I sing what ever I want

I have an attitude
Like I am the queen
Don't mess with me

These are
My rules my tunes
I sing my song
I have found my voice

I have an attitude
Like I'm the queen
Don't mess with me

I am the ruler
Of this court
I sing what ever I want
These are my rules
My tunes

I have an attitude
Like I'm the queen
Don't mess with me
This is my song

Pills

Pills
They come in different sizes
Some are hard
Some come in a plastic like capsule form
Why do they cost so much
My doctor prescribed me two medications
That came to over 1,000 bucks for a three month supply
I won't take them anyway because if I start I can't stop
Stopping them might give me a heart attack
What about the disabled who don't have to pay the bill
They must have thousands of tax dollars wasted by greedy doctors
Doctors more interested in their brick driveways and castles
Than the real health of their patients
If doctors really cared
They would tell you to eat right and exercise an hour a day
Not give you poison pills

About this poem:
The price of those meds about gave me a heart attack. I couldn't believe it. I have a friend who is on disability and he is prescribed hundreds of dollars worth of meds each month, most he doesn't even take, but the bill still goes to the taxpayers.

for want

The old man sat
nearly motionless
pen to paper laid
head slightly bent
as the young man
stepped from nowhere
with menace in his hands

"Give me all your words,
the ones with the patina"
"ones that when rubbed, shine
brightly in our dim light."
"the ones to touch a soul,
ones that give life meaning"
"I have a family to feed,
I have children and a wife,
who look to me for sustenance."

The old man sat listening
hunched as he was by time
and said nothing for a while.
"Put your threat down...
sit here beside me and I
will show you all that
you ask for."

The young did as he was bade
and sat to the right
as the elder began to speak
"All my words and the deeds
they proclaim are here
in my hand, as they were
before I even was aware
of deeds, let alone words."

"All you threaten to do
in life is within you,
now, the riches you desire,
to be a good provider."
"The vanity of wisdom
was told well by Solomon
and always within your reach."

Lightened and repurposed,
"Thank you" the young man said
as he rose to resolutely
continue, and the elder man
bent is head slightly down
and let go his pen.

this poem is in 3 parts

Moment in Silence, pt1

Silence speaks clearly
in the early morning hour,
the composed fool ponders
with itchy watery eyes.
He grins when the sun hides,
keep it cloudy
hang close to dull shades of grey.
The sky,
now becomes
monochrome.

The Fall, pt2

Mock the falling fool,
laugh hard and ridicule him loudly.
Color in his pain,
black ball the name,
and
lock the door as you leave.

Post-fool Fall, pt3

See his shape go sad,
you poor fool,
wired and taped behind the divide.
A lonely tear falls aimlessly down,
the dark corner is here.

A.D.H.D

She talks alot and rarely asks
She changes topic so quick
Distraction is her ruler
Medication to help thoughts stick

Neglect can be a problem
And she has a short temper
She forgets to keep appointments
Its really hard for her

90 miles a minute
Its sometimes hard to keep up
A factory of ideas and thoughts
Oh brain will you ever shut up

Conversation is no obstacle
Intelligent and so bright
Quick to point out mistakes
Also quick to stir up a fight

She feels like shes a failure
That her efforts turn to sand
If it wasnt for this disorder
She could probably rule the land

It's Time to Stop lieing!
We have to start Trying!

People got Disease Problems!
I got a solution, I want No Restitution!

I want you to know there is a way to go!
& it won't be slow. The Cure is fast to help you Last!

You don't have to go Steven & The Bacteria Boot Song say so!

Here it is! We got Cancer, Aids & Superbug to!
I want you to live! How about you?

I have a Cure! It's all Pure! & I know it's for sure!

A Little bit of Crocodile & Alligator Immune system Blood Antigens
in the brew with some Turtle & Snake Blood antigens to,
Helps you know Who!
A smidge of Copper Supplement and Vitamin D with
some Coral Calcium to help you see!
Also some Apple Cider Vinegar and Grape seed Extract to be Exact!
with some Black Seed, it's a Need!
A smash of Baking Soda ( No Aluminum ) ew!
"Don't want to spoil the Brew"

Finally with a dash of Real Old Sea Salt
Brings that Disease to a Halt!

Now pick up your pen or your keyboard and let it take flight,
Time to stand up & fight!

A bit of this & that wether your skinny or fat, instead of laying Dead and Flat & thats where it's at!

Our Blood is all the same!
Incurable Disease is not a Color, Race or Religous Game!

We All Die the Same!
Time to end this Incurable Game!
Stand up for yourself or Be dead & Lame!

Farming the Animals is the way to go!
So we don't Kill them all you Know!

So spread My message wide & Far!
Sing it in your Car or in the Bar!

We are running out of Time fast!
It's Time to give the leaders in the Medical world a blast!

TO GET ON IT! WE WANT to LAST!
Instead of being a Person of the Past!
it's Time to give them The Bacteria Boot Blast!
