Straight ahead and looking forward and moving thru tine and space and the optics ahead keeping the pace on the race one step to begin and only though is to win in the mind transitions slowly takes hold the flame and the earth the air the fire returns to the heart body and the spirit seeks the determination meets with every nerve alive the mind getting clearer with sweet dripping from every pour heading for the finish line shining ever more in side the trainers mind..

The pain is now subsiding,
As wine has done its thing.
A gentle fog has settled in,
This sweet relief to bring.
A delicate balance is sought,
Too much brings morning woes.
Not enough means no sleep at all,
Restraint I must impose.
The grape has brought relief again,
My steady, trusted friend.
A temporary, brief solution,
Until my joints can mend.
I'm working on more permanence,
A cure rather than just,
Relief of symptoms, dirty quick.
I feel this is a must.
But until full revovery,
Surcease is what is best.
To get me through another night,
So I can get some rest.

online today!
Who are you, I'd like to know
For you leave my soul so hollow
You entered my life, and then
Something changed, can't tell you when
I'm not sure when you arrived
But it didn't take long for you to thrive
To lock my heart, deep inside
Somewhere in there, you reside
Rest assured, my dear, with ease
I've been here, always, to appease
Though I had to intervene
For I wanted you to glean
At first, I let you be
I didn't interfere, you see
I didn't want to cause you pain
Or drive you to disdain
But when you intervened
You made me seem so weaned
Like my heart's turned to stone
And won't be loved, it's known
I know this, my dear, it's true
But it's for your own good, too
For if you don't love, you'll find
You won't suffer in your mind
So what do you want me to do?
Stay alone and silent, too?
How long do you think I'll last?
Living life, steadfast
Don't worry anymore
It's better off, I'm sure
If someone comes along
And you believe they belong
I promise, I'll let you go
To love her too, you know
And if she loves you back
Together, you'll stay on track
So do you give me your word
That you won't cause me hurt?
And that you're not with me
Just for your own decree
You haven't realized
That we're just one in disguise
I am you, and you are me
Created by God's decree
You can trust me, without fail
And you'll see, your life will prevail
I wouldn't cause you pain
For in your body, I remain
So now, let me tell myself
What has been, shouldn't dwell
I'll make peace within my mind
And hope that happiness, I'll find

As i reach into the depths of my soul
To search for reason if not a goal
I am surrounded by peace an traquility
As the beat of my heart slows with me
Each breath i take unties the bind
Leaving but a presence of mind
Focusing on the centre of me
Exhaling the negative to be free
Down down deeper still
Sleep is not far but i have my will
Entranced by the peace i find within
My journey here a welcome thing
I will take my time for hurry there's not
Relinquishing reality that mattered not
Tiptoe down the corridor of fate
Carefully not disturbing my mate
Procuring nothing but an abscence of mind
To enrich the soul for the sake of kind
Staying true to the being inside
While nourishing .........my worthy pride

Okay,
This is not a poem,
but I just read this quote
and I'm wondering how you
wonderful Poets think this relates
to how 'our' minds work...?
"The more you make your thoughts into
your identity, the more cut off you
are from the spiritual dimensions within yourself...
Defining yourself through thought is limiting
yourself. When you fully accept that you
don't know, you actually enter a state of peace and clarity that is closer to who you truly are than thoughts could ever be"
Any philosophy people lurking?
Thanks for your time in advance for 'your thoughts' on this

Sunday, seem to me to be the longest day of the week, It is the old Sundays I miss. Where after church everyone hugs and gives a little kiss. A time for rest and relaxation yet so many hours free is driving me a little c.r.a.z.y. This is not how I wish things to be. I wish that Sunday will one day be my day in which I celebrate and go to church to pray.
I can remember when I was well enough to head for the church I did attend. The Sunday dinners and fun times with friends. I long for those days again. Until then, I can dream and pretend.
Spending Sunday by myself is no fun for me. I enjoy it better when I have company. I miss all the good that the day once brought. Now, I can only pray that one day I will be well again and Sundays bring what they ought.
Sunday is still a beautiful day. I will embrace it, come what may. For now, I will think positive. I know there is still a reason for me to live. Sunday is a gift for me and I will learn to take things more lightheartedly.

About this poem:
I am having a hard time today facing what I must. Fri. is the BIG, BAD day. Today, I had the longest day ever or so it seemed. I swear I wish all of this could be a bad dream. Hoping for the best and to beat this big, bad, ugly illness. I don't know what the furture brings. I pray only happier things. Thank you my poet friends for all your prayers. I love you all. Take care and Bless U! Hugz, Pink.

I'm looking for something,
Inside my head,
A button or lever,
Before I'm dead,
The switches that control
my blood and breath,
So I can cheat death...

I still can't grasp the reality
that I'm alone
With my children almost grown
I am the killer of smiles
The death of men again and agian
With no way to be weak
Only wish I could weep
And I never, never, never sleep
Trying to find what doesn't exist
Taking my life hard to resist
No substance of which to consist
I wonder if I'll even be missed
Maybe
but only if
The child inside
hasn't died
I am the death of machines
The killer of Love
Below and above
and everywhere in between
They still haven't
Granted our hour
to live our lives
Until they sour
How arrogant of you to expect me
to feel alive
When you know how I barely survive
I am the bringer of sadness and pain
watched over by dark clouds
and rain
The death of myself again and again

when you have a reason to get out of bed
or when you have a reason to stay there
can tend to clear the mind instead
of leaving the soul in wanton despair
the higher purpose of our lowly fate
experience is our greatest educator
to touch and feel to know and relate
a useful life our finest demonstrator
into our soulful gate we slowly saunter
and ask what is soul and what is mind
to live our lives of thought and wonder
being a Gordian knot tightly intertwined
we are only able to do the best we can
but that is our light to bring to our being
to be keeper of brother and friend to man
to see with our own eyes what others are seeing
upon reflection, a heart-filled introspection
as seconds go quickly here, chances bringing
love shows our natural ability to change direction
ups-n-downs merry-go-round catch brass ringing
under some blue skies we lay down dreamily
minds gently wander around consciousness
pointedly watching clouds breeze by lazily
as life proceeds toward serene happiness

Oh to run and jump,
but not to fall.
To seek and find,
it is all good.
Just being able to run
and run and run is fun.
Jogging to run and run to
jog. To skip the walk it is,
all about the race.
We are running hurry to seek
and if you are lucky you might
~~ find me running ~~
