For WatersAndTheWild :)

Sailors welcome the sight of swallows
As a sign that home port was near;
Swallows, fabled for their timely return
To nesting sites, year after year.

A symbol of home, love and constancy.

In our times, nature is property
We have 'real estate'.
But for the Celtic mind
Nature wasn't that.
Nature is divine presence.

Perfect Pencraft * 4 Mick *

If words are colors and lines are shapes, there's something to be seen...
Things that never were before, designs that seem to gleem...
You've added unknown mixtures to this corner of a team...
And washed our souls, complete control, your colors make us clean...

One can only wonder if it's the canvas that you use...
Painting pictures of your life, we certainly peruse...
Some have said it very well, your colors are well used...
But back to back, the black you stack, is the best and that's a fact....

About this poem:
Because of the fact that your farewell poem is still being commented on, I have decided to re-write this from memory. I transferred it into Kingsoft recently to edit it, but my phone crashed and I lost everything. I think it is close to the original however....
We love you brother Mick......

Coffee For Two

I made my coffee
For two again
By mistake.

I hold my cup,
I can not drink it,
I put it back.

I feel you near
From everywhere
You look at me.

I’ll hide my tears,
Though price was high,
I lived my dream.

Naiara Moraes Conclusion

Conclusion

I think if one day I do not have love with you,
But you will be the creature that I will need more
Where to get my car and driving off alone,
Buy a wine and I'll call that afternoon
Can I go to your house?
And take wine together
Talk about our lives and wrongs
And together come to a conclusion:
Even a day apart,
We're made for each other
So I know that we will be more united than ever,
For we shall be great friends,
Dream you're my best friend
Thank you for that!

To Love is not Forever

There were a couple
They had promised to each other
They planned to love each other
Always and forever

They shared their thoughts
They shared the great moments
A dream about their big weddings
A dream about having two kids

A lovely son and a lovely daughter
To grow them up together
To take care of them together
Have a pleasure time together

Time changes everything
They will never be together
The love they have has changed
They never find a way to be together

They look for another chance
The simple and easy way
To find someone else
To reach their own dreams and promises

Now they are back from the start
They are not in the same way
They don't love each other anymore
To love is not forever

unhappy housewives

Bars made of stone
make her a prisoner
they are invisible
known only to her

she lives in a place
constructed by money
home and security
the good life and more

if she breaks free
where does she go to
what can she do
a housewife is she

longing to fly
away for a moment
to find her soul
she lost on her way

alone in the world
though marriage and children
security there
but love died long ago

love longs to fly
hearts yearn for freedom
wishing the yesterday
would call back today

to leave on her own
you walk the high wire
no safety net no one
all alone.

In time

Never doubt how much I’m pining
Never doubt how much I care
Better find a silver lining:
A burden difficult to bear

Yet another glimpse of our tomorrow,
The truth is difficult to take
But there will be too much sorrow
If our promises we break

We set it on fire
Too late to go back
Faith and desire are toying with us

Never doubt how much I miss you
Never doubt how much I care
Better find the path of reason
A burden difficult to bear

Gramma's Chair (an Easter Poem)

Life goes 'round in circles
And mine has traveled far
I can’t find my way back
For my home is in the stars
How long could love ever last
As long as my heart’s known
How I miss you sitting there
In an ol' parlor rocking chair
Next to the stone fire place
With your knitting basket
Stuffed with steins of yarn
That familair old stained
Yellowed mitten pattern….
To make green dragon mittens
With the red mouths inside
And ohhh those shiny golden eyes
How much you loved them too
Making them smile at me
A little puppet to cheer me up
How much you made me laugh
How much I miss your soft voice
Singing all those fairy tales
And funny nursery rhymes
About spiders and beanstalks
Giants and princesses
Even a woman who kisses cows
Always a happy ending
Many years have gone by
But how you are never forgotten
Nor your gentle love ever loss
Now it is I, Grams, who sits
In your old parlor chair
Smiling at your memory

About this poem:
A little nostalgia in memory and and respect of my long departed Grandmother who taught me many things at a very early age about life. Happy Easter Gram !!! I sure do wish I could find somebody like you again to make me smile. You were the kindest and greatest woman I've ever known.

surprizeme

Touching the foot of the Lord (unfinished)

before the sun will rise
the moonlight keeps me alive
i sleep but my heart is wise

before shooting for the stars
i weed the garden in the backyard
tangle dreamers don't get far

so hang on my dears
a chain of human hanging gears
see the invisible hands at play
the heart

There's a wound that is the door to the soul
which sooner or later its latch I will hold
for I finally know whom the bell tolls

the drunk either stops or dies
the blessed are drag down to be baptize
seeing that only the blind ones have eyes

step aside and let the fire sings
time to feel not to think
Lord, this is the missing link

"The Sad Reality of Love"

You came into my life like a puff of smoke out of nowhere.
You were not expected, nor did I think you existed.

But for some reason unbeknownst to me,
In a very short time you crept into the depths of my heart,
And buried yourself deeply into my awaiting flesh.

You latched onto the strings of my heart
And tenderly began to play with them.

There is a part of you that is a dreamer
who lives in a world of fantasy..
Where nothing is serious and pain does not exist.

But there is another part of you
that is so dear to me,

A warm caring sensitive part
that warms my heart.

A part whose searing, tender fingertips both
comfort me and make my blood boil.

A part whose arms bring me peace and safety..
joy and desire.

A part whose lips touching mine are like
the merging of two beings into one.

But there are times when I know not
who you are.

There are times when fear takes over
and I know not what you feel or what you think.

There have been times when I want you
to move out of my heart,
But only because the hurt of having you live there is unbearable.

But I fear that if you moved out
You would take my very heart with you,

And without my heart,
I would die.
