Ronald Reagan at the Republican Covention

Well
I bet you didn't expect to see me here
They froze my body and thaw me out every four years
So I can tell you how proud I am of all of you
You have expanded on my plans of crushing unions
I big shout out to Scott Walker
I never did real good in Wisconsin
Seeing Walker do what he has done makes me real proud
I would also like to thanks my predecessors
Bush and son Bush
You did a real good job in Iraq
For all I did for you
I ask for only one thing
Put my face on Mt Rushmore
One more thing before I got back in deep freeze
If you look under your seat
You will find a box of jelly beans
Black, my favorite color
Well
See you all again in 2016!

About this poem:
Watching the Republican Convention last night, I thought about Ronald Reagan who was our president from 1981-1989. I thought what he would say if he was still alive, or at least what I would make him say. I still have no idea who I am voting for, mabe Ron Paul will run on a third party.

School girl crush.

What do you call a school girl crush when the girl isn’t a school girl anymore?
Because now my crush feels like love, something I never braced myself for
Our age gap wouldn’t matter in a few years’ time
But as for now you’re too old
Sounds harsh
But to be blunt is to be cold
I don’t know if I can trust you to be 100% straight with me
If you’ll love me or just want the badge of being with a younger girl to soothe your vanity
But to think such things about you may mean my feelings just aren’t true
A little girl seeking attention from those who might disapprove
Spending a month at your house reading and writing poetry
And how poetic it was when you whispered goodnight to me
When I uttered the idea to my friends they said that would be taking advantage
But now I’m 18 and it’s still you I long to be with
Your eyes deep blue
It’s Intense when you stare at me
because i can see the pain you went through and not just their beauty
We’ve only hugged
But I dreamed we kissed
It isn’t wrong to want to be with you is it?

LONG NIGHT

Long night
Shockingly, the gray light is streaming thru the louvers
And I know you will wake and leave my side.
For the present, a cold instant, my body shutters.
Knowing you will travel far and wide.

I close my eyes and recreate the evening,
Calming my mind, reliving the beginning,
You took my hand, and held me close,
Dancing as one, whispering, you planted a sweet lingering kiss-
on my neck, as your fingers slowly moved around my body in bliss,
We laughed, yet both knew the yearning of pairing would soon be true.

Looking deeply into my eyes, he surprisingly tripping over a chair,
which brought him back to the reality of knowing, that we were almost there.
For at that door, was our chamber for pure blending of body, soul, and mind.
A place to forget the outside world while traveling to a frozen time.
A time that does not move, yet stands still to accept the new dimension.
This is a place of spontaneity of romance, giving each a welcome surprise of personal attention.

There are no clocks, bright lights, or gregarious designs; simplicity in the room is of a loving kind.
A simple candle, soft camisole, cotton shorts, fresh sunned sheets, that will all fill the mind.
Things that comfort, nurture, and release the seemingly constant stress of another time.
Both with anxious loving kind smiles, twinkling eyes of affection, we linger on to our union of perfection.

And through that tiny candle light, casting our shadows upon the wall
that seems to grow vast emotions quickly changing to tell it all.
From simple loving caressing kisses, showing calm reserved simplicity,
while pushing the limits to wild passionate movements which accomplishes floating of a different kind.
Where our bodies feel our spirits move together in harmony.

Flooding memories of the long night have passed as if a lifetime.
Awaking my mind from the night of thoughts come the harsh light of day.
Breaking the final security of the protected blanket of love we share away.
Common sense comes forth and slowly melts away the sublime.
Hoping with the new morning light that we may return again in time.

real tears

We keep our feelings here inside our heart....This is what keeps people apart......But is every one like me.....For into there hearts i cannot see.....I now meet someone and look into there eyes.....To see if their heart like mine silently cries.....And on we go with our hearts still crying.....Pretending to be happy but we are lying ....jw

----N.O.W--

i was once a little kid my dreams where my life,
my haunts where my nightmares but i never dreamed of this knife,

i saw there was a chance for me to come true,
in my dreams i was forever werent you,

i never cried i never thought,
that i was a teacher that never had taught,
you looked at me like i was a present,

but that never came true,
i ended being your future,

and thats why i decided to see it through,
in my eyes you seemed like i was alive,

but that was my dream and now i have to thrive,
but never look back and always create your destiny as if it was your fate,

all this was my life that no one can debate,
im living in the now and thats reality,

so listen and learn that i was your child,
not a creature from the attic that was crazy and wild,

youve hurt my past but this is my now,
i know you love me,

but its changed my life i wont regret how,
but im still hurt inside as you can see,

i wont forget you but will you forget me!...

Calliope

The rolling waves sing sultry songs
and echo sweet compliance-
the phoenix hair, and lips to dare
resound with mock defiance.
Her eyes abound with mystery, infinity,
and such
Her muselike ways drive to a daze and
craving for a touch.
She's wise and true and loving too
but cares not to be bound.
She'll teach you, help you, hold you,
heal you,
Leave without a sound.
The whispering winds weave tales of honor,
and gallantry unbound
Of deeds at sea, in air,
above and below the ground.
The bards sing of her beauty, valor,
heart foresworn to love
To cherish those about her
like heaven up above.
With sword or heart
she'll do her part to champion
the good,
The poor,downtrodden,all the weak,
and those misunderstood.
The minstrels sing Calliope in mystic
words of song,
Of she who bests the devil to
make right of what is wrong.

simple love

I'm just waiting
Biding my time
Like so many others
Looking for a sign
Just someone simple
That connects with me
Love a sense of humour
It exposes thee
A plain jane
Who does take care
Of body an mind
An lips that share
Strong but weak
If you know what i mean
Able to communicate
With a caring gleam
A touch as gentle
As the whispering breeze
A smile honest
Your heart does seize
Not one for glimmer
Or the glam
A simple girl
Who can understand
Its the effort we make
In the journey of two
How well you succumb
To maintain loves view

Porphyria's Lover

Porphyria's Lover
BY ROBERT BROWNING
The rain set early in to-night,
The sullen wind was soon awake,
It tore the elm-tops down for spite,
And did its worst to vex the lake:
I listened with heart fit to break.
When glided in Porphyria; straight
She shut the cold out and the storm,
And kneeled and made the cheerless grate
Blaze up, and all the cottage warm;
Which done, she rose, and from her form
Withdrew the dripping cloak and shawl,
And laid her soiled gloves by, untied
Her hat and let the damp hair fall,
And, last, she sat down by my side
And called me. When no voice replied,
She put my arm about her waist,
And made her smooth white shoulder bare,
And all her yellow hair displaced,
And, stooping, made my cheek lie there,
And spread, o'er all, her yellow hair,
Murmuring how she loved me — she
Too weak, for all her heart's endeavour,
To set its struggling passion free
From pride, and vainer ties dissever,
And give herself to me for ever.
But passion sometimes would prevail,
Nor could to-night's gay feast restrain
A sudden thought of one so pale
For love of her, and all in vain:
So, she was come through wind and rain.
Be sure I looked up at her eyes
Happy and proud; at last I knew
Porphyria worshipped me; surprise
Made my heart swell, and still it grew
While I debated what to do.
That moment she was mine, mine, fair,
Perfectly pure and good: I found
A thing to do, and all her hair
In one long yellow string I wound
Three times her little throat around,
And strangled her. No pain felt she;
I am quite sure she felt no pain.
As a shut bud that holds a bee,
I warily oped her lids: again
Laughed the blue eyes without a stain.
And I untightened next the tress
About her neck; her cheek once more
Blushed bright beneath my burning kiss:
I propped her head up as before,
Only, this time my shoulder bore
Her head, which droops upon it still:
The smiling rosy little head,
So glad it has its utmost will,
That all it scorned at once is fled,
And I, its love, am gained instead!
Porphyria's love: she guessed not how
Her darling one wish would be heard.
And thus we sit together now,
And all night long we have not stirred,
And yet God has not said a word!

About this poem:
I use to teach British Lit. and this poem was written by Robert Browning and had a cruel twist to it.. I used it to shock the students to understand that not all love stories had good ending, some tragic and very cruel... there are different opinions of what the true meaning of porphyria but the poem does shock you and shocked people of the time he wrote it as well...

Memories

Memories of what was meant to be,
Would not have been,
Had it not become,
The way it became.

Memories of what is to be,
Would not become,
Had not it been,
The way it should be.
