Now it's Brett Kavanaugh
From the Catholic church
To just about every business
You keep hearing about bad men
Men like Bill Cosby
Who will not keep their hands to themselves
Is this guy guilty?
I think he is
But the more important point is this
Do these victims have a voice?
Are they being protected?
Or are we just too ready to look the other way
Is it safe in America for women
Especially pretty women
I hear this stuff and it makes my stomach turn
And it makes me mad
I want women to be respected
And I want the Catholic church to allow priests to get married
And Kavanaugh not to be chosen as the next Supreme Court judge

The big story this week is the Kavanaugh hearing.
The Unknown
What is that sound beneath my bed
Or is it something that’s in my head
The sound of claws upon the wall
Footsteps that echo down the hall
The scuttling sound upon the floor
The persistent banging on the door
A silent scream that’s barely heard
At edge of vision through tears blurred
All around there’s a slithering sound
Hard as you might, nothing to be found
The terror rises, you want to scream
You know what’s happening is not a dream
Take heed, take heed, best run so fast
To stay here, not long will you last
Or is it something that’s in my head

About this poem:
This talks about ....Looking at the autumn sky at dawn. A scenic beauty. As the dawn breaks to a new day, the faint dark night brightens up to a new day. However, it's autumn. Leaving the three warm seasons behind and experiencing the cold of winter. Though everything is being lit up by the warm sun, the warmth disappear to a wintry cold instead.
Life can be an autumn dawn. A season of pleasant weather and dawn a period of time which darkness creeps to light. However, as the dawn gives way to a bright sky, it is the end of autumn. Darkness may have left but autumn paves it's way to a winter chill. We may pass through events of life-a dark path then there's light. Night can turn to day and day turns into night again.It's the cycle of life
Just Part Of The Crowd
Hello friends and strangers
Been a long time since we met
Hello friends and strangers
How many memories did we forget
Now when we hear laughter
It doesn't sound near as loud
I use to be part of the family
Now I'm just part of the crowd
Oh it's nice to have a reunion
But handshakes don't seem quite as proud
Once I was part of the family
Now I'm just part of the crowd

I like my cousins they all like me
They're the best cousins that ever could be
They've all got medals for good behavior
And they are humble naturally
They're all good lookin' with hearts of gold
And talk of bravery there's none so bold
The friendliest people in this world
But of course I'm just talking about the girls
And now they love me even more after reading this
I know their day now will be so bliss
This is what good cousins should always do
Unto to others so I'll start with you
They're the best cousins that ever could be

Tis Love in Bloom!Have you been there?
When Shall my Sun Sets
Too many poems written in the past
Wondering just in case I wouldn’t last
Childhood visions of a short-lived life
Reminding me as it keeps coming back
Was it the turmoil of my yesteryears
Or the challenges I had to grin and bear
Stoically trained this heart, this mind to sway
Outside my box; champion those who cannot play?
I welcomed change and challenges with hands wide-open
No fear in loving and trusting someone I barely knew
Leaving my loved ones, my comfort zone behind
To cross the ditch more than half a score ago!
There was no other dream but see the world around.
Instead, I found me rather in this small rural town.
Stripped off everything my heart has grown to love
But my soul was nourished; He took away my frown!
The unknown messing-up my mind with doubts, with fear
Not knowing how many curve balls awaits me each year
Yet my journey's laid down; I know I must press on
Until my soul goes back to Him, finally my soul to heal!
I’ve seen ugly; I've seen beautiful; not much in between
I tried to lend a hand; the ripple's too small for change
Every tear from every eye I’ve seen, every broken-hearted ones
It comes from something else; from God would be strange!
And as each day pans out; my fears and pain go out of mind
An urge to keep another soul safe; respecting her tears
Encouraging, empowering; day and night until she knows
She’s not alone, her faith restored; she's without fears!
While all the times the weight I carry gets more heavy
Turning my soul weary as the day sucks away my energy
I plod along, as I retire each day another soul I know,
Understands, soothes my soul even on days dreary!
Instead of anger or bitterness, I will be grateful instead
When it’s my turn, though bittersweet; I’ll drink my cup and won’t forget
The beautiful sunrises and sunsets admired and seen across the globe
May mine be as warm, as beautiful when to the West my sun shall set!!!

About this poem:
Life's journey; fear does cripple us in many ways! Death is scary so is sickness and strife yet sometimes when we've done our very best...sometimes...the fear goes away...gratitude and acceptance take its place! Life can be likened to a beautiful day that starts with a glorious sunrise and an awe-inspiring sunset!I haven't written for a long time; years I think. I have not been well many a few times this year and I believe that when one writes a poem for someone it really comes from their heart. I just wanted to express my gratitude to my husband who without fail has gone beyond my expectations each day I am not well. I feel blessed that I can come home at the end of a challenging day knowing that I have someone who understands what I am going through!
Things Given
Footprints in the sand made while hand in hand,
Changing the blueprint of life,
To begin our time. the rest of our lives,
Grow old sharing our days, our nights,
Both of us alone,it was too long,
Learning again how to fly,
Darkness now turned to sapphire skies,
No longer our love do we hide,
Together with our strength and grace.
Succeed is the only thing we can do,
Me loving you, You loving me,
Two hearts joined is how it should be,
Our love is like a musical scale,
Having lows and highs,
Hearts skipping a beat,
Always feeling kind of neat,
My soul calling out your name,
Things not the same since I met you,
Keep wondering how you found me,
Did you sail the oceans or cross the seas,
Too beautiful to be true, you and I,
What do you want with me,
Giving already all I have to give,
Please take it all, let it be enough,
Taking life's avenues and roads,
Traveled our own paths, time for a change,
Guiding each other, showing the way,
A journey we now take as one

The beauty in your eyes written in the heavenly skies
The passion within I hear in your sighs
as you feel the gentle caress upon your thighs
Thy fullness of your breasts so delicate and ripe
You are truly Heaven's delight
Be not ashamed of your love if it is true
and sanctified from above
Nor be afraid of thy sight
No greater gift a fool could ever receive
than the love of a woman she chooses
to bequeath
Seeing you dance between the trees
your hair blowing in the breeze
Flowers bow down before you
as you do whatever you please
Strength and honor is your shield
you shall never bow or yield
In spite of the battlefield
You seek not weakness
nor take pleasure in meekness
nor fall for any cheekiness
You are beloved of my soul
You take from pieces
and make them whole
All I want is my heart you stole
