She waters my dreams

I'm still a seedling pushing toward
her loving light hungering as a suckling
babe..

I must be born and then reborn into
the womb of her love

She is the milk of desire

She is the strength of my bones

She is the mother of my soul

She is the fire of my loins

She is heavenly showers.. and my
eternal need.

I'm so done

let's step back
I'm lost
being alone, being free
is a precious state

I'd needed no one
just my crazy mind
on a shallow ground
I'm all alone

so let me be
there is no love in me
for you or anyone
just me, free

alone, and that's how it is
please feel no pity
nor sorrow for me
joy and happiness
will always be my enemy

for now, I'm okay with that,
wouldn't you be?

I am.

An excerpt from a longer piece

The forests are falling can’t you hear the earth calling.
Its lungs are collapsing through greed and neglect.
The price we must pay is to watch the land fast decay.
A grave we are digging through our lack of respect.

The oceans once clean now look so obscene,
Their purity is raped by madness for oil
It’s no longer safe there for animals to live
The oceans are cryptically poisoning us all.

The animals knew before me and you,
The balance of nature that must be ensured.
The balance now leans due to mans mighty machines,
That spew out their filth the sun to obscure.

The birds once rejoicing now sadly are voicing
Their anguish that the clouds are now stained so grey.
Once proud to fly and take delight in the sky
They sing of their lives now in sad disarray.

The seas hide the waste we disposed of in haste
From there shall it haunt us in times yet to come.
Manmade death he thought hidden shall return then unbidden,
Then shall he know that his doom has now come.

tilting at windmills

well I might take off for Washington
wanna get my feelings heard
I might crowd some lazy senator
just for them to hear my words
it may take some time for pigs to fly
except when in the bath
'cause they're in no mood for coming clean
or a truthful word to pass
you might say that I'm ridiculous
to think that someone cares
I suppose I gotsta spring a trap
so's I can catch 'em unawares
I imagine I should dress myself
in shoes and socks that match
so as to fit inside their head
as my plotting I unhatch
I will tease them with some banking scheme
just to make their ears prick up
and once I have their full attention
they'll be drinkin' from my cup
all the piles of money that they'd make
should they only come aboard
with eyes aglaze and mouths watering
interest had surely soared
that of a deer caught in the headlights
...would be my only guess
of how they looked when I changed my tune
to the plight of homelessness
for my concern that I came to share
were tales of folks without a roof
as soon as they became aware
they started acting all aloof
we can never count on anything
when dealing with they who have the moon
for all those people have gone crazy
...crazy as a loon
never knowing certain circumstance
can steal your piece of pie
unaware but for the grace of God
homelessness are you and I

You don't know.

You don't know the constant frustration.
You don't know feeling such agitation.
You don't know the thoughts in my head.
You don't know when I may want to be dead.
You don't know what goes on in my mind.
You don't know how I deal with time.
You don't know really how I feel.
You don't know exactly what's real.
You don't know but still sit as judge.
You don't know so your opinion doesn't budge

WELCOME COME IN

Quick pace running
back & forth not
knowing which
way to go.
Customers passing by.
Sales clerk saying hi
have a great day.
Making sure this place
is friendly for all.
Wanting them to shop here.
To see my friendly face.
now go about your business
& say to the customers
have a blessed day.
Try each day to show your
gratitude for this job.
Make your boss see how
wonderful your
work effort can be.
Do above and beyond.
Be all that you can be.
Make your boss happy.

Free

Free, that I am but it is not what I wanted,
To be beaten and whipped like captive in gauntlet,
A parting loves end, the path of your choosing,
Unaffected by this mans' head and heart bruising,
And your blood is colder than late Winters' frost,
And now most certainly all has been lost,
For what is free when the heart aches from longing?
The head and the body are sick from the wanting,
No recourse or remedy, no proper redress,
No! Freedom for me tis a fate worse than death!

Curtain Riser

Bring me to the land of Vaudeville!
Where furnished faces masquerade and mascara dew lines the under eye...
Take me to the hamlet!
Where the dry forsaken thirst...
Announce the impending!
For the famished who've found their rape...

This is his show, play, and or tragedy...
This is his stage, thee victim being the pantomimist

Puppy Love

Your presence glistened, like the scales of a snake that slivers on hot black cement...
I take account of your odd posture.
Intrigued, as I tally up the courage to make my approach!
What vernal like buds we are!
Just waiting to be whisked away!

Pills Pills

Another day of feeling sad and blue
I can feel the glue starting to undo
This is nothing new
I can't seem to feel fulfilled
My cup is over filled
This mood I just can't seem to kill
went to the doctor
Told him I no longer feel the thrill
He said lets see what we can do
Then he threw me a pill
Said it would stop me from feeling blue
Who is he trying to fool
Me or you
Could this be another magical pill
Or is it me he's trying to kill
I take a pill to make me eat
A pill to make me sleep
A pill to no longer feel pain
A pill to slow down my brain
A pill so I don't go insane
A pill to make me feel numb
Now I'm starting to feel dumb
I no longer know who I am
It's okay
I'll just take another pill
Go on with my day!
