We are Travellin

We are travlin
this road
together
and there's love here
to discover
WHO WE ARE

And together
we possess
all the knowledge
to recover,
what we were missing
when we were growing
TO WHO WE ARE

Let's go back now
to where
was
lost
that little
child
in each of
us
So we can
nurture
one another
to the greatness
OF WHO WE ARE

And we can heal those
who come
behind us
with all the love
that
we possess
cause our gentle
ness together
is teaching us.

Then some day
we'll look around us
and see the joy
that
God intended
when He placed us
on this earth

Cause that image
of Christ
within us,

IS....
WHO WE ARE

Just Tell Me

Ah!..but if it was just so easy...
and I could go to Dunkin Donuts
and pay a price, and pick you out
among the precious tray of culinary delights,
and bring you home and take a bite
of ecstasy.
Rows of trays, so artfully designed
sprinkles, white and pink and brown
creamy custard centers, dripping with honeydew
and then there was... YOU.
And if your outer cover
was the plainest in the tray
I'd still pick YOU, each and every day.
For God creates that special one
that satisfies beyond
the palate and the tongue.
and touches your heart and soul
like no other... One.
If only, there was but, a simple price to pay
I'd buy your heart.

Come Hither To Me

Come hither to me
and our passions will rise
as the sea
builds and swells
within itself.

And our spasms will crest
as we ride each new wave
and soon will forget
that there were ever
any other names........
or faces
To those of the past
who abused the delicacy of our feelings
and cared not enough to make it last
nor valued what was to be enjoyed
not exploited,
what was meant to be a gift
not a demand

Come hither to me
cause I understand
what it is you have to give
and that is all
I ask
to have.

A Life

Barely three with a gentle heart,
always wants to play her part,
an apple fallen from the tree,
always awaits what life can be.

Seven now and real tears come,
life is still simple in the home,
but away the evil babes do wait,
hoping she will take their bate.

Eleven and the eye sees clear,
no more days of silly fear,
the babes still flock but only by day,
to her parents she cant come to say.

Now fifteen and all hell falls,
she ignores the taunting boys who call,
sitting quiet unlike the rest,
holding her pain in her breast.

Sixteen and oh what can be done,
She doesn't know now where to run,
Sitting waiting to be found,
They approach without a sound.

Seventeen, and all is quiet,
There is no mention, no riot.
The babes are leaving, going far away.
She cant find words now left to say.

Eighteen, the year now of present,
Something has come, something pleasant.
She is still quiet but her eyes are open,
No more words need be spoken.

She is a girl, like any other.
Nothing special other than she came from her mother.
But still she finds care in a man,
And if her mind opens, then surely she can.

Something so sweet is in his word,
with gentle phrase she is fully assured,
he holds her hope with gentle hands,
If only, they were not separated by lands.

But still she smiles, she knows all is well,
because no longer is she living in hell,
no now she has known something new,
Something she knows, only experienced by few.

(like it's) Never Happened Before

Where'd I put the barricades, that surrounded my heart?
They were here until I met her, I remember that part.
Scrambling now to learn the dance, let alone score.
So foreign. It's not like it's happened before.

pour some fuel on this fire
your heat I adore
it's not like this has
ever, ever happened before

Eighty-six thousand seconds in any given day.
If I could sqeeze another million in, on my knees I'd pray.
Thanks to the lights that guided her, to my door.
That was a first. Not like it's happened before.

pour some fuel on this fire
your heat I adore
it's not like this has
ever, ever happened before

Bridge

Walking 'round in circles. Talking all day to myself.
If she's not in my arms. So lost. Need a lotta help.
Pick the phone up darlin'. Lemme tell you what's in store.
Our love tonight is gonna be like it's never happened before.

pour some fuel on this fire
your heat I adore
it's not like this has
ever, ever happened before
pour your fuel on this fire
you're so hot. it's hardcore.
Our love tonight is gonna be like
it's never happened before.

Sing along

The gnomes they're in their gnomey homes
the elves have ceased to ring
there's nothing on the radio
the kids have taken wing
Santa is a long way off
Easter Bunny's done his thing
the TV's one big disaster zone
so we just have to sing

"There's a lull in the poetry
ring-a-ding-a-ling
there's four hundred little poetry scribes
and we haven't seen a thing, Woah!"

Turning up the music now
so I can do the fling
the neighbour thinks I've lost the plot
I'm dancing in my bling
we have to get more poetry
who wants to be the King
without a little poetry
we'll just have to sing

"There's a lull in the poetry
ring-a-ding-a-ling
there's four hundred little poetry scribes
and we haven't seen a thing, Woah!"

YOU ARE THE MISSING PIECE

Through time past by,
Its so vain as the sky.
I'm waiting and looking,
Don't know if your coming.

But when i asked and pray
God's love showed the way!
You, my love from somewhere,
You spell the word like you care.

And yes your sincerity,
care and comfort are all free.
From a distance we know,
Our love naturally grow.

You are my soulmate,
best friend and my love oh so complete.
Please lets keep this forever,
The feeling is so deep nowhere to compare.

You complete me,
With you im so me and I feel so free.
Oh baby, I can't see tomorrow without you,
I love you so.

Just look!

And the past is gone, confined to history,we live for today its as far as we can see, but, history has a story to tell, it shows the future, it shows it well, because everything goes around and around, well, at least thats what I've found, so history is a part of who we are, where we go, how far!,,,, if you want to see tomorow, look back into the past, you won't be the first, and you won't be the last.

Blossom

Green leaf branches stretching
The sun's glinting eye
Awake the sleeping
Barren branch
Now blossoms in the sun
Bud's open to the glow
The rays of sun
Life blossem to make
The leaf grow
Rise up into the sun
Glistens from the heat
As tears flow rain from dark skies
From pasture grow abundant
Flowers leaves of green
From seed to flower
One is one with the sun
