RE: Impersonators

I used to highlight the less than obvious ones on another site.

RE: Impersonators

molly, in my experience, it's the other way around. Photos from unsavory sites appearing as new members on CS.

RE: More lol

Was that more on or just moron?

Work Ethic...

The police did get a call from me after 1am as I grew tired of the guy a block over shooting (illegal) fireworks over houses. The smell of gunpowder filled the air.

RE: Impersonators

P, guys usually avoid profiles without photos.
If you fear someone will steal your photo, then WATERMARK it.
Actually, all the photos uploaded to CS automatically get marked with the CS address.
What's your excuse now?

Oh... say it ain't so!

A friend of mine mentioned "The armed forces did not take college students or men with significant disabilities. The only disability Trump has is a lack of ethics."

laugh

So true...

The Condo...

975mg. of aspirin for breakfast.

fiorenza, I have to 'peel everything back' as the dust collects on the openings of the filter mask. The day before I had a shirt with a collar and less dust got inside and around my neck.

RE: Thanks Google

thumbs up

OIL...

I worked for a South African who said jars of Gerber baby food failed to sell over there. It wasn't until someone revealed pictures of babies on the jars made the consumers think horrible thoughts about the product. Lesson learned. I'm told they switched to photos of the actual contents and sales went better!

RE: The 'Great' Negotiator. lol

"Much of it comes from Russia..."

That has been verified in a video taped interview by Trump Junior.
If you doubt it, then you would be calling the president's son a liar.
Hmmm... let me think about that.
(lying father, lying son)

Okay mister "I know more about taxes than the IRS" show us your tax return. It's been more than two years. Ya think that audit is over by now?

RE: The 'Great' Negotiator. lol

"But the current raise is already about twice of what obozo's was."

That's Obama, as in president Barack Obama. Why do you have trouble getting his name correct?

Song Remakes...

"Always on My Mind"
Recorded first by B.J. Thomas in 1969 and covered by dozens of performers.
Elvis Presley recorded it in 1972.

Oh... say it ain't so!

Drc, do you have any first-hand experience with bone spurs, shin splints or heel spurs?

It can be a dull to sharp agonizing pain. What would cause a young man to have bone spurs so bad the army wouldn't take him in time of war... with only a doctor's note??
Hmmm... that makes me wonder.

I developed 'tennis elbow' in college, enough to quit the sport. In my 30's jogging on pavement brought on heel spurs and shin splints. The podiatrist cautioned against surgery and only as a last resort. He was a heavyset man who often went to the opera with his wife and wore foam innersoles with the shiny thin soled shoes as his feet ached by the end of the night. Yeah... the podiatrist had heel spurs.

Many factors like too much movement, wrong shoes, cold weather would be enough to bring on the pain.

Pain like that is ALWAYS there to haunt you.

So while you tried to play down Jim's response, the truth of the matter is someone his age to have had bone spurs bad enough as a young adult to be exempt from serving your country would be clearly evident today.

Sayings or phrases that grate on my nerves...

Better luck next time...

70's Rock...

Jim, I'm delighted to see Rock music survived in the 90's

After the death of Nirvana's front man Kurt Cobain in 1994, drummer Dave Grohl, went on to start the Foo-Fighters.

Although founded in 1983, Red Hot Chili Peppers sold millions of records in the 90's.

Pearl Jam, 1990

Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day were also in the mix.

Dots what I see...

Mystery solved. Thanks jac!

RE: Feeling alone

Blog often so people get to know about you.

Duck !!

Yeah, I know of a few places where a long line of customers stand outside waiting to get in!

RE: I just heard GREAT news !

Oh, and great news about that sudden spike in the market...
(turns head and speaks to someone... it wasn't a spike?)

Sorry.. that wasn't a spike in the market.

RE: Merry Christmas

Thanks Ken, MC and HNY...

The Condo...

"...I would be terrified to own a condo."

Yeah, me too!

Song Remakes...

Hendrix started performing 'Sunshine' live...

Song Remakes...

Cream recorded Sunshine of Your Love

The Condo...

Home Depot closed at 5pm Monday and closed Christmas, so I didn't get a chance to get the much needed supplies.

We filled a contractor-size trash bag with all the ceiling popcorn. The dumpster at the condo warns 'no construction materials' so I stopped at the office as we have a 30 cubic yard dumpster in the back of the warehouse.

Breakfast this morning... 975mg. Aspirin!

70's Rock...

90's Rock you say?

Chuck Berry made it to 90 and died in 2017
Tommy DeVito (4 seasons) 90

Not Rock, but Burt Bacharach is 90

The Condo...

Primer applied today 12-24-2018 and the smooth ceiling passes my test.
Very few flaws that I can correct by skim coat tomorrow with sandable drywall compound.
If it's not too chilly I should be able to add more primer/sealer to the areas I touched up and final paint before dark!

70's Rock...

I left out Paul McCartney who is 76 and kicking off a South American tour March 20, 2019 in Santiago, Chile.
He performed in Fort Lauderdale nearly 10 years ago. I was fortunate enough to see him then.

Great show, but I'll only watch him again on YouTube...
