False accusations...

True, so speaking the truth about my stalker would keep the gossip mill going outside of CS.

Thanks for the comment!

False accusations...

Inquiring minds want to know. jac answered a few questions.
If a person gets ejected, for whatever reason, there isn't notification to the other members.

Some have returned with new profiles and life goes on...

Chronic complainers...

Yes and that's why there's always room for more complainers...
Some get better with practice.

Chronic complainers...

Not sure Bob... Do you have to pay a deposit on soda in plastic bottles?

As a kid, we would gladly stand in line at the grocery store with empty glass bottles for the refund.

RE: The collapse of Boeing by Jon Oliver

Is it time to buy Boeing stock?
Shares were $179 in October 2023.
Shot up to $264 mid December and now it's $184.

False accusations...

Unless someone received official notice, it's believed he was banned, probably for arguments with another member. As far as him making offensive comments, I prefer to stay out of it but read jac's comment above.
I recall several things happened over the course of a year or so. Some blogs were locked, or deleted by him. At least one was removed by the site administrator/moderator that he remarked on another blog.

False accusations...

That was the follow up to a swipe on Ann's blog.

Since it's the same person going around CS saying these things, I'd say the position of sheriff is already filled... not that one was needed.

False accusations...

Which blog did you read?

Four more years...

It's an election year and some of the things you say can be used against you.

RE: By all means

I know you were disappointed with the results of online dating and decided to leave CS.
Thanks for returning. It's difficult living on an island distancing you from possible connections.
35 years ago I met a woman from Trinidad who came to America with a student visa. It was more than she could handle without financial support and risked deportation. She met a German travel agent jumped at the idea to relocate and marry the man.

The odds of finding someone good are slim. You may have to go through a few hundred that don't pass the test. Keep trying...

False accusations...

suzie, thanks for your comment.
Historically, I've avoided making comments on religious and political blogs, especially ones that are extreme or differ with my views. I got along with Luke, we could disagree on a topic without having an argument.
I noticed his disappearance and after hearing it from others did I realize it must have been a decision from administration and not closed for vacation.
I miss him. I also miss Butcher.

As far as reporting fake profiles goes, here is an example: 4 new profiles appear within minutes of each other. They usually have different photos, often the same age and sometimes the same location. When you read each profile and see they are identical with opening line, more about me, more about my match, occupation, it's obvious these profiles are created to scam someone.
Who checks this?
It's beyond the means of CS to monitor such fraudulent activity, yet it's a whacking talking point for one member who calls me the self appointed sheriff, done in a negative way. I'm knocking out more than 1,000 fraudulent profiles a year and ONE GUY has nothing better to do but complain about it.

RE: By all means

It's true, women of color don't normally show their real age. I know, I married one...

False accusations...

Thanks jac for the reminder, I forgot about the bickering on some of his blogs that had to be locked/deleted. That in itself would have been sufficient invitation for the moderator to take action without anyone reporting him.

False accusations...

Thanks for your comments... thumbs up

False accusations...

Thanks... the problem is if someone lies enough about another person, others tend to believe it's true.

jac, Tul... don't hold back.
It's a topic that President Joe Biden talked about in his State of the Union address.

RE: LVP - Luxury vinyl planking aka sticky planks

I've used a contour gauge, small sticks, thick paper to create templates around odd shaped surfaces.
For me, the scored line and snapping has a 50/50 success rate. I have some wood shaping/grinding tools for the fine work. Dremel tool is a brand name most hobbyists use for projects. Cut slightly oversized by 2mm or 3mm, then trim to a perfect fit.
It takes practice and by the last plank you will have figured it out!

Check to see if they make small matching 'shoe moulding' that can be mitered cut to go around legs should the fit not be to your liking and you don't want to waste more planks.

Donald who...?

Maybe in your world he is...
The media didn't tell me to hate Trump. Actually, I don't.
I've said it many times, he's a world-class con artist.
Can you find better?

RE: LVP - Luxury vinyl planking aka sticky planks

suzie, what are the dimensions of the planks?
I've done a few rooms with sticky squares 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm)
Also, I worked for a bathroom remodeling company who did flooring and tile.
Typically, it was easier to remove the toilet, rough cut the tiles around the flange and install the toilet over the new flooring. Perfect fit. Remember you have to must get a new wax ring that seals the toilet to the flange.
Different applications for different products. Some could go over a sub floor, some required a 3mm barrier, the thicker products had their own backing and didn't require glue-down or preparation.

Donald who...?

Oh, wait. That came from CNN and Gal say's they are fake news. Please disregard.

Donald who...?

Divisive?

Donald who...?

I'm thinking Speaker of the House Mike Johnson didn't realize that he was in clear view of the camera that was focused on Biden.
All his 'rolling eyes' frowning and facial expressions were clear to everyone. I like the part when Biden made reference to them nixing a partisan bill that would protect the border because Trump told them to do it.

How to sound EXACTLY like Jimi Hendrix...

Hendrix exploded on the British music scene. Some liked it and some didn't.
The Beatles released the Sgt. Peppers Band album and to everyone's surprise, a few days later Hendrix covered it live!

How to sound EXACTLY like Jimi Hendrix...

I didn't research it, was Hendrix credited for the part?
