I rather flirt with someone I like. For I don't want to give mixed signals or messages, to someone, if I have no intentions of being serious with that person. It can be misleading, if you give the appearance, that you like someone, when all along you don't. Better to lean on the safe side, of things.
and extol him with music and song ( Psalms 95:1-2).
Jesus is awesome! Who else can fill us, with such joy, that causes us to give praise for who he is, and thanks for what he has done (and continues to do) in our lives?
Worthy is the Lamb (Jesus) who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea and all that is in them, singing:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!"
The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped (Revelation 5:12-14).
Before you asked me your question, you first stated that religion is based in opinion not fact. I just wanted to know weather you have any bases for what you are saying or is it just another opinion on top of another opinion, ad infinitum?
Did you expect me to ignore what you said, and go straight to your question, knowing that the burden of proof rests on you, who made the claim, that religion has no bases in fact? For you said this, before asking your question. Right?
I am delighted that they know the truth, and thank you it is a credit to the way I brought them up. Is what you call truth, based on your opinion.
For you told chame1eon, that in your "opinion" anyone who believes in the nonsense of God and the Bible is far from intelligent.
If your statement is not based in fact, but mere opinion, then you have "no bases" for justifying, what you call truth.

It is true, that no one is accusing Glatlol of being dishonest. I just believe that she is sincerely wrong, in her view truth and ultimate reality (God).

Good point. Denying an unseen reality, doesn't make it go away. For one can be reminded of it very quickly, when one runs out of air.

I agree. For love is rooted in an objective source (God).
Hello sir. In regards, to my belief in God's existence read my blog..."God exists."
As to your question of weather God has a gender....The Bible says, that God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27). As God created both male and female in his image, he does not participate in one or the other gender, for God transcends gender.
However, in the Bible God is referred to as heavenly Father (Matthew 6:9), in a relational sense, in adapting to our human understanding as finite creatures. As a loving heavenly Father God is personal, as opposed to an impersonal "it".

I agree, my friend. The evidence is so plain and self-evident that the Bible says, that man is without excuse (Romans 1:20).

Hey bro. In knowing when to respond to unbelief, Proverbs 26:4-5 comes to mind.
Verse 4 says "Do not answer a fool according to his folly;" and verse 5 tells us to "Answer a fool according to his folly." But this looks like a flat contradiction.
However, this would be contradictory if it were not qualified by the accompanying phrases. We should answer a fool according to his folly if not doing so will leave him "wise in his own eyes" (verse 5). But we should not answer him according to his folly if in doing so we will "also look like him."
In other words, it depends on the circumstances. Sometimes we should and sometimes we should not answer a fool. "The wise man" will know the difference.
If your previous post did not confirm or deny your belief in God, then why did you post it? Lol.
However, I think it's worthy to note that, people do not need to have a Bible (special revelation), to know that God exists, since God has also revealed Himself, through creation (general revelation).
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world (Psalms 19).
That's universal. And it's in everyone's heart.

I no longer believe God exists. I KNOW God exists!
As for skeptics and non-believers alike...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
For nothing cannot cause something, since nothing doesn't exist. Out of nothing, nothing comes. And a self-caused being is impossible. For a thing cannot be prior to itself.
That only leaves one alternative (God).
God bless!

When a person receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, they can "know" and "experience," who He is, on a personal level.
