Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death-even death on a cross! (Philippians 2:5-8)
Imagine, the Creator of the universe humbling himself by coming to serve, suffer, and die at the hands of the very creatures he created!
Why would he do this? Because his infinite love compels him to offer salvation to those made in his image. And taking the form of a human servant was the only way he could offer us that salvation without negating our ability to accept it.
It's one thing to acknowledge that Christ took "the very nature of a servant" in order to save us from our sins-it's quite another to fathom the magnitude of his suffering. Most of us take it for granted.
C. Truman Davis, M.D., wrote this vivid description of Christ's suffering and crucifixion, which I have posted.

Hello my beloved sister! When reading your blog, I was reminded about how great God's love is, in sending His Son to pay for our sins. He paid it all, all to him I owe.
Thanks for dropping by. I believe fish will be there as well. For they were part of the original creation from the beginning (Genesis 1:26). However, the difference is, is that they will no longer live in the seas, but perhaps in rivers. For there will no longer be any seas, when paradise is restored (Revelation 21:1).
I know every bird in the mountains, and all the creatures of the field are mine (Psalms 50:11).
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all that he has made (Psalms 145:13).
I sense a Spirit of worship, in these lovely words. They are heartfelt prayers and devotion to the one of is worthy of all praise and glory, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Who being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:6-11). Amen, Sister!
Thanks, for sharing! God bless Cmiyer! Serendipity
What a lovely prayer my dear sister! I am always delighted to see you here on my blog! Jesus loves you, for nothing can separate you from his love (Romans 8:38-39).
Jesus is the only way because there is only one way God can reconcile his infinite justice and his infinite love (Romans 3:26). If there were any other way, then God allowed Christ to die for nothing (Galatians 2:21).
Like the father did for his drunkard son, God satisfies his justice by punishing himself for our sins and holding out that payment for each one of us. All we need to do in order to be set free is to accept the gift. There's only one problem: just as the father can't force his son to accept the gift, God can't force you to accept his gift either. God loves you so much that he even respects your decision to reject him.

Perhaps, he was just looking for some support (as a friend) since he is getting over a difficult divorce? Granted, even if this were true, he should have informed you of his intentions from the very start. The fact, that hasn't text you, or called you or contacted you in any way, seems to show that he is distancing himself from you, because he does not want to be too deep in a relationship (we're just friends).
Either he doesn't know what he wants, or he is using you, by taking advantage of your kind nature? I don't know his intentions, but what I do know is that he is certainly misleading you, in his amount of time spent with you, as well as his physical expressions toward you. If I knew a lady who was kind as you, I would have certainly followed up, by contacting you in some way, and not leaving you hanging. It just demonstrates that he is not serious enough or ready for any close relationship.
He obviously, needs alot of time to get over his divorce, for it's too fast and too soon for him to get seroius with anyone. Though he may mean well, I think that it's wise that you guard your heart, by not getting too deeply involed with him emotionally, for he is not ready for that. You seem like a really nice lady, who deserves much, much more. Even if you continue to remain friends with him, you need to set some boundaries with him, for he certainly has crossed them, if his intentions were to be just friends with you. Don't want to see you get hurt. For you been more than kind!
RE: Will I
I can't say that I've found someone, but I have gained some friends in the process, for everything is in God's timing.
Enjoy your stay at the blogs!
God bless you, Minya! Serendipity
