All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work(2 Timothy 3:16).
Since the God of the Bible is all-knowing(Psalms 139:1-6),all good(Psalms 136),and all powerful(Genesis 1:1),it follows that He would not inspire books for faith and practice of believers down through the centuries and then fail to preserve them. In short,if God inspired them,God will preserve them. God completes what God begins(Philippians 1:6).
Because you can't refute the Bible verses that I gave,in regards to hell being everlasting, now your going to discredit the Bible? Since you believe the Bible is corrupted then no matter what Bible verse I give refuting your view, you willfully choose not to believe. That's a choice. For evidence will not convince somebody who is unwilling.
For it's very misleading to teach people the Bible and quote from it,when you don't believe it yourself. I've studied the topic on Bible translations and even did a whole blog on the topic, and what you are saying has no bases in fact. It's baseless.
God cannot error.
The Bible is the Word of God.
Therefore,the Bible is without error.
In order to deny the conclusion, you have to deny one or more the premises.
So which premise do you deny? Which premise is false? God cannot error? Or, the Bible is the Word of God?
As for Bible interpretation... If the literal sense makes sense, seek no other sense, less it result in nonsense.
You may want to see a doctor,in finding out how severely broken your toe is? Icing your toe and elevated your foot can help relieve some of the pain and swelling. I will keep you in my prayers,Calliopesgirl.God bless you!!
Thanks for stopping by Waf. Yes,it is clear from the authority of God's Word, that believers will recognize their loved ones in heaven. In regards to age, if the blueprints for our gloried bodies are in the DNA,then it stands to reason that our bodies will be resurrected at the optimal stage of development by our DNA.
My next blog will be a continuation of this topic. It will focus more on what people will do in heaven.
God bless you,my friend! If I don't see you, then have a Merry Christmas, you and your family! Take care.
Truth exists independently of ourselves(objective). For example,George Washington was the first president of the United States is true for everybody in all places and at all times, regardless of our perspective or religious beliefs. We don't determine truth,we discover it. Rather, than looking inward within ourselves for truth(subjective),we need to look upward to God,as it's ultimate source.Jesus said...I am the way the truth and the life,no one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6).
Since Jesus claimed to be the Son of a God and proved it by rising from the dead, his claim to be the only way to the one true God,is true. God bless!
A person's character, will give you a good idea about the kind of values they will bring into a relationship. Therefore, choose wisely. For in the end,you will get what you tolerate.
The past is history, the future is unreality, but the present,is Now. You have to live in the present moment, cause that's the only moment you'll ever get.
I value the fact that you took the time to post this blog. Thank you! God bless you, ragkumari! Your friend,Serendipity.
"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trail and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved."-Helen Keller
There is a higher purpose in allowing pain and suffering in our lives. It's to produce a greater good. For God created this universe for his glory and for our good.
In the end, heaven is the prize, for those who receive God's free gift of eternal life, through Jesus Christ.
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger(Proverbs 15).
Our words, have a strong influence,in how a person responds to us. Exercising humility, can help us in choosing our words, when it comes to relating our emotions, in a balanced way.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experience on this topic. You are a person of integrity! God bless!
I like the advice towards the end of your blog..."Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on in life."
The wife's concern for her broken decorations rather than her husband's broken bones was hilarious, though I wouldn't suggest marrying someone, who has a higher value for things instead of people.
For those God foreknew he also predestined to conformed to the likeness of his Son,that he might be the first born among many brothers. And those he predestined,he called;those he called,he also justified;those he justified,he also glorified(Romans 8:29-30).
My destiny is that God has elected me to eternal life, through Jesus Christ,my Savior and Lord.
Though people may change, truth never changes. We can find comfort and security in our relationships, when we can learn to connect with truth on a personal level. It would help us to adapt to change, for true love always remains the same.
