God offers eternal life(heaven)as a free gift(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). It's my wish that humanity would exercise faith,in receiving what God freely offers, as an expression of His love, to all people.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life(John 3:16).

It has been said that on the outside of the door of heaven it reads,"Whoever will may enter,"while on the inside is written,"I have chosen." Both are true.

For God knows for sure(determined) who will freely receive Him and who will freely reject Him,in regards to their eternal destiny.

You can know your destiny,when you put your life in the very hands of the One, who knew and determined the course of your entire life from all eternity.

I know my destiny,for my citizenship is in heaven(Philippians 3:20). For the Jesus says...

I tell you the truth,whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me "has" eternal life and will not be condemned;he has crossed over from death to life(John 5:24).

It's not that you might have or could have,but "has"(present tense)eternal life. Eternal life is a "present possession" that believers will one day fully experience in heaven. For God loves us so much,that He offers us eternal life(a free ticket into heaven)as a absolutely free gift,through His Son(Romans 6:23).

I realize that you care for her,or else you wouldn't be so concerned about reconciling this relationship. However,the person your with is clearly taking advantage of your good nature,and as a result she is trying to control you,since she knows you will comply with her every wish. I am also a calm and sensible person,and I also know when someone,is trying to cross my boundaries. In your case,this is obvious from the little bit of information you've shared.

If you don't think she can love,then don't expect that she is going to take responsibility for her behavior. As long as she is the one maintaining the control,nothing is going to change.

The fact,that you mentioned you don't expect love from her,is a clear indication that you need to end that relationship. To pursue further would only bring more hurt to you. There are other women,that can appreciate guys with good qualities such as yourself. When your emotionally involved it's hard to let go,but we ought to use our head in matters of the heart.

Wow. The end of the world? Did I miss anything? Lol. As I remember,I was getting a haircut on that day,and the hair stylist brought up the topic. We talked about it for awhile and laughed.
