Since the Scriptures are breathed out by God(2 Timothy 3:16-17) and God cannot breathout falsehood ,it follows that the Bible cannot contain any falsehood.
Yes,I agree Jonah is a good example of someone embarassing himself, for he did not fail to record his short comings, when commissioned by God, to go to Nineveh and preach repentance.
How are you my friend. In regards,to your question the problem is,is that Bible says that none are good. For all have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard of righteous(Romans 3:23),and therefore, deserve death(eternal separation from God)(Romans 6:23).
However, the good news of the Bible, is that Jesus Christ lived the perfect life which we could never live, then he suffered and died to pay the debt we could not pay, and in place of our sin he offers us his (perfect)righteousness as an absolutely free gift,so that we can go to heaven(2 Cor.5:24).
There is no one that is so bad that God can't forgive them, and no one so good, that they don't need His forgiveness.
God bless!

Thanks! I'm glad to see you!

It is true what you say. It takes supernatural love to love your enemies, for it's natural for us to want to do the opposite. However, Christ was the perfect example of His own teaching, when He prayed for His enemies that crucified Him on the cross. That supernatual love is the fruit of the Spirit, that fills us,as we become more and more like Christ(Gal. 5:22).
God bless,sister!

Hello seeker of Romance. Try reading Song of Songs 1-8,for more detail.
I agree with everything you said, for the Spirit of truth gives us discernment,in reconizing a tree, from it's fruit. By their fruit you will know them (Matthew 7:15-20; Luke 6:43).
Why would it matter what anyone believes,if you don't hold the law of non-contradiction to be valid?
Secondly, your teachings on the Trinity are decidedly unbiblical, and is rank heresy. For every theological heresy begins, with a misconception of the nature of God.
And since you reject the Bible's authority in regards to being fully inspired,it doesn't really make any sense,to talk sense, with you since we have no common ground to which we can refer to. And to base all truth on your subjective opinion,is a false view called relativism. For truth is not relative to the individual,as you seem to believe. For all truth is absolute, and exists indepenently,of person's awareness or belief.
Thirdly,in regards to the literial interpretation of the Bible: If the literal sense makes sense, seek no other sense lest it result in nonsense.
Thanks for your insightful comments, for I appreciate having you on my blogs! I wish there were more positive people like yourself. For truth is under attack, anytime a person can believe anything he wants, just as long he doesn't claim it to be true(fact).
And yet they want you to accept their view as fact, and not just simply their opinion. Do you see the self-contradictory nature of their view. It boomerangs on itself.
May God bless you richly, my dear friend! Serendipity.
Your free to share your view point, just as I am free to share my view point. Fair is fair. For I have no problem with others who want to share their veiw that's opposed to mine, for I believe that people can strongly disagree and yet, respect one another.
There have been atheist's who have put up blogs against God,yet I don't go on their blogs and say, they are not free to post what they want. I obviously, disagree with their view, but I respect their freedom,to post what they want, regardless,of what they believe.
I believe that the Bible is based in fact, not fiction, and that it is true beyond a reasonable doubt. You are free to disagree, but as for me and my household,we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).
The point of posting this blog was to teach and encourage believers in their faith,in regards to the Holy Spirit, and to provide understanding to those who do not know Him,but are intersted to learn, who He is.
Our priorites begin to change when we desire what God desires, through the filling of the Holy Spirit. In the spiritual awaking, you gradually start to lose interest in the things that matter less, when you begin to focus on what matters most,(Jesus).
It appears, your friend loves his wife very much, and that he feels hopeless without her, since he seems to be more concerned for her, than himself. He needs close support from family and friends,in helping him through this difficult time. Does your friend go to a church? Be great if he was able to talk one on one with a Pastor, who could help him in his situation,in giving him the added support that he needs.
I will pray for your friend and his wife's family!
Where did this energy come from? And if the energy in the universe is finite(not infinite),then the universe must have had a beginning, since every finite, limited, thing that comes to be,needs a cause(law of causality). An infinite Cause, as the grounds for all finite beings(God).
