I like your balance perspective regarding our communication with God and others,in the context of relationships. Well said! An off balance in either direction can effect the quality and success of our relationships,in seeking intimacy.
Thanks Ariel, for you have a nice way of wording things. For your right on target regarding the relationship between science and religion. I admire the way you think!
Warminster is a small and lowly place. Lol. As to me being a minister,I see myself as just an average layman, trying to share God's Word,to a lost and dying world. I am not a minister, but the Bible does command us to "Always give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that we have. But do this with gentleness and respect(1 Peter 3:15)." This is not just a command, for ministers, pastors, and theologians, this applies to all Christians!
Communicating to your partner regarding, when is the best time to talk on certain topics, can certainly simplify things. For a relationship requires teamwork,so communication would be the key. For if a couple does'nt learn to talk out their problems(communicate) and they always remain silent, then resentment can easily develope if one or both partners have hurt each other(unconsciously) in some kind of way.
In general,I find the proverb "Be quick to listen and slow to speak",to be very helpful in knowing when to say something,or just remain silent. Alot of times we are so quick to speak in wanting to be heard, that we miss the essence of what someone is trying to say to us. However,if we first take the time to really listen to what they are trying to communicate, then we can give our minds more time to process information, as to weather a certain sitution requires a verbal response.
I find this blog to be very insightful, Ariel! God bless! Your friend, Serendipity!
Scripture affirms that"All streams flow into the sea,yet the sea is never full. To the place steams come from, there they return again"(Eccles.1:7; Job 37:16). While the author may not have been aware of the exact process of evaporation, condensation, and precipation, his description is in perfect harmony with these processes.
The earth is round.
Isaiah spoke of God who "sit's enthroned above the circle of the earth"(40:22). This is remarkably accurate description for an eighth-century B.C prophet. And Solomon had given the same truth in the tenth-century B.C.(Prov.8:27).
The earth hangs in space.
In an era when it was common to believe the sky was a solid dome, the Bible accurately speaks of God spreading out the northern skies over empty space and suspending the earth over nothing(Job 26:7).
God bless everyone!

Opps. My fault. Rather than "impossible" I meant to say that one's own existence is "undeniable." For one cannot exist without existing to deny it. Lol. And whatever is undeniable(my existence)is self-evidently true.
I appreciate that you take the time to share your view regarding mankind and his relationship to the world. For that is to be commended. However, how can one deny what is most obvious? To deny "self,"(illusion) is to deny one's own existence. But it's impossible to deny my own existence. For I would have to exist, in order to deny my own existence. This is self defeating. For in the process of denying my existence,I affirm it.
I think everything you said regarding the depravity of man can be summarized in this one verse...God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes(Ecclesiastes 7:29).
Unless, we realize we are sinners,we will not realize our need for a Saviour.
For salvation works in three stages. For God not only saves us from the penalty of sin(past)but He also saves us from the power of sin(present)and will one day save us from the presence of sin(future).
If you fulfilled hundreds of prophecies concerning yourself, lived a sinless and miraculous life and rose from the dead, then I would take your claim seriously. Lol.
I wish you well in connecting with your friend Nessa! As long as you have her contact information, you can always meet up with her. Just choose a day that best works for you,and write it down on a calendar if you have too.Lol.
Hello Saskia. How are you feeling dear? Thanks for sharing your family experiences in Cairo. Must be nice to see your daughter and spend time with her, while being a apart of an interesting and unique culture. I hope you continue to enjoy your stay. Just look out for potholes, while on the road. Lol.
Stay safe, and have good time! God bless you, darling! Your friend Serendipity.
Join the club means that we are all in the same boat(sinners),no one superior to one another. I certainly don't see you superior to others, nor do I see myself as superior to others, for we are all equal at the foot of the cross.
