Do those who teach tolerance, tolerant themselves?

Huggermanforyou:

You made an interesting observation regarding the importance of making clear distinctions. For often in our culture, these distintions are blurred,by our ignorance or our rush to judgement of other people. Only when we are open to truth, can we see the difference.

RE: Feed your spirit

When we fail to eat physical food on a daily basis, we will starve physically. What is true of the outer man, is also true of the inner man. If we fail to feed upon God's word daily we will starve spiritually.

Your words serve a great reminder of our need for God day by day. Thanks, for your uplifting words mia9988!applause

RE: Atheist..and site comments

takemetofrance:

As I have mentioned before at the very begininng of my blog, that everybody should have the freedom to express what they believe without getting shot down or ridiculed. So why are you shoting me down for simply sharing what I believe? For nowhere have I put anyone down, and neither do I put you down. Can you show me where I have degraded or put down a person in anyway? I was simply giving evidence for the creation view, for if evolutionists are free to offer evidence for their view, then those who believe in creation, should have that same right. Why discourage others, from having that equal right?

You have asked me why I care if someone is an a Atheist. I tell you why: Because God teaches us to share his message of love to everyone(including atheists). For Christ died on our behalf, so that the judgement of our sins would fall upon him,and that we would be covered by his righteousness which saves us from the eternal punishment we deserve.(John 3:16).

Jesus loves you so much that he was willing to die for you,so that he can offer you forgivness of sins and eternal life as a free gift(Ephesians 2:8-9).Can you ask for anymore proof of his love?

At the foot of the cross we are all equal. For no one is better than anyone else. God bless you!

RE: BIBLE

This is a worshipful Psalm. For it acknowledges the fact that, God is the Creator and Sustaner of life, and therefore we acknowledge our humble dependence upon him. By offering worship to God, we attribute worth to who he is.

RE: Atheist..and site comments

einstein2005 I agree that people should be free to express what they believe without being shot down or ridiculed. For you can humbly respect somone who you may simply disagree with. Atheism has made some contributions to help eliminate some contradictory concepts of God. For atheists are right in pointing out that if everything needs a cause or explanation then that leads to an infinite regress and not God. For if everything needs a cause than so does God.

This would seem as the atheists observe, leads to a contradition of God being his own cause.

However, this is built on a misconception of the principle of causality.

For the principle of causality states that only finite ,changing, dependent beings need a cause. This does not lead to a contradictory self-caused Being but to a noncontradictory un-caused Being.

For only finite beings need a cause then when one arrives at a nonfinite(infinite)being it does not need a cause. For the principle of causality when followed to it's logical conclusion legitimately leads to a first cause. An Uncaused cause of finite beings.

By the way I am a Christian.Lol. I welcome your comments. Have a nice day!

Is there only one way to God?

Indeed, truth is absolute and exclusive.

For all truth claims exclude there opposite.

For example: If it is true Jesus is the only way to God,then every opposing view would be false.Since opposite things cannot both be true at the same time and in the same sense.

For there is one man in the history of the world that claimed to be God and proved it. Buddha's dead,Mohammond is dead, but Christ is risen! For Jesus demonstrated that he was Lord of all creation through his resurrection from the dead. Therefore, your eternal destiny depends upon what you believe about him.

Choose wisely!

Why is there something, rather than nothing at all?

The answer to this question depends on weather God exists. But if God exists,(and I believe that there is good evidence that he does)then...

The reason why something exist rather than nothing,is because God decided to create. He wanted to share his love with free creatures,so that they can have a personal relationship with Him that will last not only for time, but also for eternity.

Why is there something, rather than nothing at all?

There is not a shred of evidence in the "present" and science is built on regularity and repeatability, that natural forces can produce intelligent information as great as a dictionary.

Now the first living cell,a single cell animal has enough genetic information if spelled out in English would fill one volume of encyclopedia.

To say that happened by chance from an explosion in a printing shop is irrational. But to say it took an intelligent cause is rational.

Why is there something, rather than nothing at all?

To say that the universe just poped up by natural forces, demonstrates that you believe that it had a cause. For every event has a cause(law of causality). Only quesion is weather the cause was intelligent or non intelligent?

Well we can easily say that the Grand Canyon had a natural cause. For wind erosion can easily be seen as the factors that cut the river's path deep through the rock. There is no need to suppose that there was any intelligent cause.

But what about Mount Rushmore? Did it happen by wind and erosion? Any reasonable person can see that a mountain with four faces needs an intelligent cause. It is silly to look for a natural cause for something that displays complex information.

There is more intelligent information in the Human DNA than there is on Mount Rushmore. Why not posit an itelligent cause to that which has more complex information.

Why is there something, rather than nothing at all?

Conrad73 You have asked weather it is the purpose of science to answer such questions. The answer is,Yes.

For that is how science originated and the purpose for the scientific method. Francus Bacon who is the father of science gave a good diffintion of sciience when he quoted..."Science is the search for causes."

RE: Who Am I? ~

Who am I? I am a person who is made in the image of God. Therefore, my idenity is found in the one, who designed me for his purpose. angel

RE: Which Religion is Best?

If God exists, then it matters forever what you believe. For either your going to be in the right place forever,or your going to be in the wrong place forever. I say that makes a difference.
