Personally I am unable to view Russia as a democracy .Maybe it's intention was after the dissolution of the Soviet Union but since those days it has changed and basically more so since Putin took the lead.
Russia’s failure to become a democracy is the root cause of its conflict with the West—and will be the country’s biggest burden in the era after Putin as no-one is indispensable and he is also in his 70's so will not always be around. This raises a big question, can Russia, as long as it is run as an empire and afflicted with post-imperial phantom pains, ever become a democracy and will it ever change?
A strong opposition is surely vital to a democracy and it's pretty obvious that there is no opposition in Russia with Putin in charge ,an authoritarian at the helm and the fear of death or imprisonment if you dare to stand up against him.

Guess people will never know whether this was just an accident or otherwise and you really cannot blame people for their thoughts knowing how others have met with "accidents "in the past. Litvinenko springs to mind as do the Salisbury poisonings to name but a few.

I suspect that T.B is on the rise in the U.K. due to the amount of people that are now pouring into our country from abroad as T.B has always been controlled in the U.K. Places such as London with a much higher rate of people from countries that are prone to this disease, are cause for concern

Smallpox vaccination can protect you from smallpox for about 3 to 5 years. After that time, its ability to protect you decreases.We had an outbreak in the UK in the 50's and 60's apparently
