Deafness is a terrible affliction and surprisingly more so that blindness apparently.
My neighbour has just had a double cochlear replacement on the Nation Health [ no charge ]and should know if it has improved his hearing in about a month's time.
Believe it or not he plays musical instruments and is in a band[ He's in his 70's] I was amazed when he told me but apparently it's all about the beat rhythm. He also has a hearing dog called Murphy who's an absolute darling.

My point in this blog is to try and understand how people can post absolute lies which have no validation whatsoever .

The Queen's coffin will not be put underground as is the norm which is why it is lead lined to preserve the body longer. Both her and her husband will be transferred to St. George's chapel at Windsor Castle where they will be interred. Her coffin was actually made 30 years ago .
The enormous crowds now gathering in London show just how many people respected this lady and they are not all British subjects either. Yes it is a moment in history and frankly one that we are unlikely to witness again.
Have you noticed how many pall bearers there are for this coffin? Normally one has 6 at a funeral but because this coffin is lead lined ready for internment at Windsor it has to have 8 pall bearers due to the weight and the Queen as you know was a diminutive person.
I posted it for those who seem to know what goes on in the U.K better than the ones that actually live here.
As you pointed out most Heads of State travel with an entourage and this is not possible under these circumstances due to the vast amount of people attending the Funeral [ 2,000 inside ]and the massive crowds outside of Westminster Abbey and beyond. The streets of London will be heaving. You only have to see how many are in attendance through this week in Scotland and the U.K. to see just how much this lady was respected.
Buckingham Palace did not invite President Joe Biden to assemble a delegation to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II next week, and instead extended a specific invitation for only the President and first lady, a White House official told CNN.
The White House announced Sunday that Biden had formally accepted the invitation and would be accompanied by the first lady.
You are welcome and there will be millions out on Monday celebrating the life of this amazing woman. I've read so many disgusting comments on here of late I despair for the human race sometimes.
For many it isn't about the death of a Queen ,it's about a Mother ,gran,great gran who touched the hearts and minds of so many in a kind and gentle manner.
The rest of the World has no idea just how many people have been out in the streets watching the late Queen be transported from Scotland back to Buckingham Palace ready for her funeral on Monday.
At this very moment in time The Mall and outside the Palace thousands have gathered to welcome her back home. The enormity of losing this remarkable lady has hit home to us all and nothing will ever be the same in this country. This is not about a Royal figure but about a woman who touched the hearts of so many for so long.
The amount of dignitaries from across the World coming to pay their respects at her funeral will cause a huge problem with a cavalcade of cars hence the decisions now being made . There will be millions of people lining the streets to watch her cortege on Monday and the Metropolitan police will have a difficult task on their hands making this run smoothly.
