The same thing can be said of men, especially since women are usually the ones who profess their love and are many times either rejected or misused because of it.
Very insightful. I believe that God woke you because He didn't want you to miss out on the opportunity to be among other believers in that sacred space. 'For where 2 or 3 are gathered together in His name, there He is in the midst of them', and where God is... blessings abound.
I truly appreciate your insightfulness on this topic of predestination and it's effect on mankind's 'destiny'. Ideally, you asked in the first part of your discourse whether we chose to be born in the first place. Perhaps God should have allowed His chosen creations (i.e. mankind) to have a preview of the pathway to our destiny, and then given each of us the choice of either pursuing it, or declining to do so. Unfortunately, we were only offered 'choices' when we got here...
I fully agree with NOSTRUS... I've often commented to myself about the lack of 'presentation' of some men here, and although I'm new and respect their choice to look sloppy, I also believe that it's a direct reflection of what they think about their 'search' on CS. If a man is serious about impressing the ladies, it's important to look as though you take care of yourself...How else could you convince a discerning woman that you could take care of her (not that she may need you to)? Instead, some of them look (and sound) as though they're hoping that the ladies are so desperate that they would overlook that altogether...and don't get me started on their lack of effort with providing info (and true/actual pics of themselves) on their profiles.
Pray without ceasing....
So true...
