RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

My point is Ireland is developed and it is not responsible for the overpopulation problem, why shouldn't the Irish health service do everthing it can for women and men with fertility problems?

RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

I believe both species bumble and honey bee are falling in numbers, how does hydroponics get around this problem? I don't seem to be able to find the video and any text just seems to state hydroponics reliance on bees, in one form or another.

RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

Hydroponics that should be

RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

No surprise to me, Israel is a hard-working, developed and well organised nation. Will those efforts be matched across the globe given the signs we see?

And correct me if i'm mistaken but hydrophonics does not solve the problem of the dying honey bee? Which means nature no longer pollinates itself and to do this manually is an insurmountable tast

It is one possible scenario that everything will be ok in the future, but when you look at the world coldly and rationally it is just so unlikely that will be the case.

RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

Why should the Irish suffer for the actions of the 3rd world?

RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

That solves the depletion of fresh water, fossil fuels, necessary metals and the growing problem of pollination of crops in what way?

Another point, how prominent is it in today's society despite the fact it's been around since the days of Babylon, and not 100 years ago.

RE: Is infertility becoming more frequent?

You won't convinve many Westerners of that until food and other commodities begin to wildly escalate in price as supply falls and demand increases, they will then begin to see what an unsheltered life looks like.

Give it 10-15 years, existing raw materials and methods of supply have not been completely exhausted yet and people don't realise just how underinvested and underengineered the sustainable industries are.

RE: it is said 1 in 3 of women in USA and united kingdom can't have(birth) child by herself,is it true?

There's truth to that statement, the government is very worried that when the current middle-aged generation retires, they'll be as many elderly around Britain as there are people of working age. We'd literally be a nation of geriatrics.

RE: Multi-polar powers, and conflicts around the world.Which country is likely to cause world war 3

A China backed Muslim world and a Western backed Israel.

RE: Time Travel ?

Looks like a man dressed as a woman talking into a brick to me.

RE: Druidry is officially declared a religion

Point being, if you don't believe in what the Pagan's believed in then you are not Pagan, Druid or whatever, it's yet another half-hearted and meaningless fad.

"Truth in our hearts; Fulfillment in the lips" - right?

RE: Druidry is officially declared a religion

True, I believe the 25th December was a Pagan celebration to the birth of the sun.

RE: Druidry is officially declared a religion

Funny, I wonder how people would feel about this if they knew where and from whom the bulk roots of the 'Pagan' revival and repopulation comes from and just how many 'Pagan' ethics are ommitted to suit contemporary tastes and fashion.

RE: I know...spelling and grammar doesn´t mean much here...

Haha

9 times out of 10 you'd be right. I suppose what I'm saying is, pay some attention to what a person says and not just the way that they say it. This kind of arrogance is what con artists and scammers prey upon.

RE: would you lot describe yourselves as a sycophantic clique

If you're into this kind of thing then I recommend a book called 'Social intelligence: The science of human relationships' by Daniel Goleman, it's interesting stuff.

RE: would you lot describe yourselves as a sycophantic clique

"Never trust the teller, trust the tale" ~ D.H.Lawrence

What he was arguing against was that the majority care more about who is making a point rather than the content of the point made.

Various neuro and social scientific studies observe that this is a fact amongst the majority of people, and subsequently they are naturally predisposed to becoming one of the herd/clique. The concept that most people make an independent, just and informed choice is the falacy.

RE: would you lot describe yourselves as a sycophantic clique

It wouldn't be very sycophantic of people to admit to being sycophantic. Good luck with this one.

RE: Would you rather be male or female and......why?

Don't worry, I'm picking it up from the dry cleaners in the morning.

RE: Would you rather be male or female and......why?

Ask me tomorrow wink

RE: Would you rather be male or female and......why?

Well Monday to Friday I'm just a normal functioning male member of society and there's not a thing anyone can say or do to prove otherwise, but then comes the weekend... shimmy

RE: Overcoming Insecurity

thumbs up Exactly. The land of make-believe won't help you when you're defaulting on your mortgage or being chased by muggers.

RE: Overcoming Insecurity

I'd try telling a starving African or poor street kid that he has been 'trained' to think everything in life is limited. No, the answer to being secure doesn't lie in pretending the World doesn't have problems and that the world isn't a tough place, that is just negligence of reality. Strength comes from the full acknowledgement of life, good and bad, and understanding the difference between rational and irrational fears, unjust anger and righteous anger.

RE: Why be so negitive.

People everywhere hate answering a question directly because heaven forbid they might even have to come up with something original in doing so. No, far better to never give a straight answer and be rhetorical in the broadest of fashions then you can never be wrong, or so the theory goes.

RE: I know...spelling and grammar doesn´t mean much here...

There is a correlation between poor grammer, poor handwriting and low intelligence/poor education, yet there is also a correlation between the very same linguistical inaccuracies and the class of genii.

You shouldn't always judge a book by its cover.

RE: What are your thoughts on Christianity?

A moral lie.

RE: France on the verge of a crisis like Greece.

The French are complaining about not retiring at 60(!) in a country with one of the highest life expectancies. They work less hours per week than the Global and EU average by far and receive many more statutory holidays(one of the world leaders in fact).

Go back to work you workshy, striking lowlifes.

RE: MARGARET THATCHER...

Might be a good idea, maybe it'll finish the old bag off. Then the soldiers can do their bit when they fire the 21 gun salute at the coffin.

RE: RIP Norman Wisdom

RIP

A true grass roots hero.

RE: The U.S., At It Again..Or Should I Say, STILL At It!!

If you're poor and in need then you'll work for whatever you can get, which is usually less than the market dictates.

There is a real world aswell as an abstract and theoretical world.

RE: what kind of race you're interested in?

Since nobody white has yet to answer the question, which is quite embarassing and speaks volumes, then generally speaking..

1)White
2)Hispanic
3)Semite
4)Oriental
5)Black

In that order. Each race is aesthetically different by trend, it's absolutely ridiculous to suggest that people aren't attracted to one type of look over another. If we were talking about hair colour, people wouldn't be so gutless and would just give a straight answer.
