Sorry guys, agree to disagree, well partialy. I have about 45 or more friends on fb and they are people I want to keep up with. I don't like the games and such, don't trust a few that pay for fb page. Nor do I ever put anything that I may be sorry for later. So to fb for helping some of us find each other.
I agree that people who think quanity not quality, a game of "I got 200 friends I don't know", are immature or feel a need to be noticed. Don't know what the inventors of fb meant it to be. I thought it would be a "my space" with forums and mailboxes. I don't think it is just for young people. All in how you use it, JMO

1 for me is my Aunt, 90 going strong. She and my uncle raised 6 kids while both worked full time. They paid for catholic schools and had very little $. Still my Aunt would always offer us food when we visited. House was always clean. I admire her.

Nelson Mandela is probably a hero to many. I read a book about his life and prison time and after. He is a great example that the people can make change happeb with a good leader, I respect the late Mr. Mandela for several reasons.

It is oftened the small things that bring us pleasure. I smile sometimes just looking at the sky and appreciating the beauty of the clouds.

2 of my cats out of 3 play games similar or same as dogs do. They also understand certain phrases and follow commands when breaking rules. My last 2 cats did not do much of this type of behavior, but I never tried it either. Takes patients and time, but an intelligent cat can understand much. They just decide if they are going to comply. Ask anyone who has cat(s) they treat as family members.

It's not often I get many replies to my non- controversial threads, However I am keeping my positive thoughts and at times putting them in threads. For myself I usually feel good when I read replies in positive threads.
I smiled and laughed today watching Seinfeld. I smiled at a cute child in store line. I smiled when my youngest cat finally learned the game of fetch.

I start to count my blesssings, suprising how many I come up with and I am not a person of means or many poccessions. Even being thankful for having a dwelling, not everyone does. I start to count and feel better before I know it.
I also pray, not saying that is what everyone would do.
Can always munch out on goodies .
Excersice I agree is good to get endorphins flowiing as is laughing.

You can pray to God you believe in, if you believe at all. I find prayer helps me, that's me though. Also I start to count my blessings. Suprising how many you can come up with, even the small 1's like have a dwelling in which to live. Anyway I forget my problems and start thinking about those with less blessings and I feel for them. Tal=hes away my down mood.
Also can try eating your favorite comfort food.
Keep your mind and hands busy. Just my 2 cents.

Don't have a video of it but latest commercial with animals. Dog family riding in car down the road. They all start barking, then you see they are passssing a mail truck.

I could not click an answer in poll, because many of the reasons are true. I read the profile of a man who sends me a message or flower. If he isn't a typical scammer, as there are many here and other dating sites, then depending if I think it is sincere flower or message and I am not interested for whatever reason, I DO send a quick no thanks but appreciate the compliment. That's just my belief in courtesy. Not every woman feels as I do. No actual rule on CS about answering mail. No reply, move on.
You know that there are ladies here who send mail to a man and get no reply also. Takes all kinds, and we got them here :danceline. Boring if everyone thought the same about everything. However I don't agree with plain rude for the sake of trying to boost 1 up, or making fun of a serious situation. Could do without them. Then again could do withouy them in the real world outside the computer. JMO

I like longer emails sharing much. Maybe 6 or 7. Then phone and if get along 1st call, then 2 maybe 3 calls before meeting. That's just me. What about you?

It is no ones business what I do or who I see. If I am not being unfaithful to someone, I see no problem with it. And if the tables were turned I'd be okay with it. Some men have gotten upset when they see flowers sent to me or overhear a call and quess it was another man. Committed to someone, I'd love to be. Until I am I will see who I please!
