First time, it was a thrillingly romantic total disaster. With the event essentially scheduled, we returned to the upscale romantic riverfront bar where we'd had our first date. The place had valet parking, but while waiting in turn, my car died. We left the keys with the valet and told him to hail a tow truck; we wouldn't be there long. But when we went inside, it was no longer a romantic riverfront bar. It was a Loud Bouncing Silver Spandex Disco! Loud!!! Bouncing!!! Silver!!! Spandex!!! We took one look and said, nahhhhhh. Went back to the car, which was still sitting at the end of the drive, where it had mysteriously died. With everything planned going wrong, we laughed, and I knelt in the parking lot/driveway and proposed. Moments later, the tow truck arrived....and the car started by itself, just fine.
Ok, I'm a bit late in the game -- the quoted post is from last Wednesday, 6 days ago -- but O/P, if you are reading: What did you expect people in the Forums to say? "I like the Chat room" or "I like the Games"?
CS has many features. To meet some real people, instead of just the endless scammers in your inbox, get involved. You can and will meet real, eligible, attractive people.
1.) Many lakes, and even some rivers, have beaches.
2.) Just because a person now resides far distant from any ocean does not mean they always have.
3.) "Long walks on the beach" (I know, you did not specify "long") are a well-known cliche of romance, like candlelight dinners. Some such listings may simply reflect a lack of imagination by the writer.
Multiple views by the same person count, too. So when Gingerbe re-opens the thread to read what you wrote, it'll look like another "view," whether she replies to you or not.
One must call one's theoretical constructs something, yes? If only to oneself. But as they are theories, one ought also ask oneself: Does it explain the phenomena? and Is it testable? If either answer is No, the theory is invalid (or, in common parlance, crap). Should one choose to believe without even asking either of these questions, or without affirmative answers, one has not posed a theory. One has adopted an article of faith.
RE: No luck,No love,No way
Now, now, my friend, while some may indeed "search" for years, I've known others who found a soul-mate much much faster. For a handsome fella like yourself, should require not too much patience. Some, but not too much.
