I went to a liquor store to buy some wine. (Here in Tennesee wines are only available at liquor stores.) While I was there though I also bought some whiskey, vodka, tequila, and amaretto. I have no intention of drinking any of it. And I don't plan to open a bar, either. What was I thinking?
I don't agree. I don't think couples who initially meet online face the stigma they might have a few years ago. It's just too common nowadays. One fella I work with originally met his wife in some chat room. Even my own Dad, who's 80 now, didn't bat an eyelid when I told him I'd met my girlfriend on CS. His own special ladyfriend too told me about several other happy couples she knew who had originally met online.
And I do think it would be unwise to go about putting out some sort of "cover story." Wouldn't that just be, lying?
I've about 20 of his 40-plus albums. Seen him perform 3 times, 3 terrific shows.
A lot of folk, yes, never liked his voice. First thing they say, he can't sing! Yet he's made himself a megastar, a living legend, by doing just that for 51 years. So, who's to judge that he can't sing? Apparently he can.
That's a terrific video. What really astounds me is, it's all one take! I can scarcely imagine the coordination required to shoot it. What really puzzles me though, is, the bulk appears to have been shot by a cameraman using a Steadicam harness, running through the streets. Yet at the end, it's a crane shot of the crowd. But it's still one take! How did they achieve this? Remarkable. Thanks for sharing, Lukasz.
If I were in Heaven -- unlikely as that seems, but if -- I'd dial up Patzeria's in NYC, or a charming place down here in Madisonville called The Patio.
Keep in mind, since it's Heaven, pizza delivery is always instantaneous, so you could order from anywhere.
Why did I do it
