Well, I gotta say (and I'm not even one of those single guys, panting breathlessly), of all the CS ladies whose pics I have ever seen, yours was in a 3-way tie for sweetest smile. (My gf is another, and I can't name the third or I'll get whupped like the lowdown scurvy dog I am.) So, deprive the world of art and beauty and the grace of God's design, if you will, but don't then wring your hands and gnash your teeth wishing the world were a better place.

You're a Cards fan, in Illinois. But, the Cardinals, founded in 1898, left Chicago in 1960 for St. Louis Missouri, until 1987 whence they moved on yet again to Phoenix, Arizona. Do explain this anomaly, please.
Now, to be fair, I think us guys get a lot more latitude. No matter how we look, proper grooming is more important. Consider the gap-toothed, jug-handle-eared, squat-faced Clark Gable, generally considered star in one of the most romantic film roles, ever. (Also reputed to have such dreadful halitosis that costar Vivien Leigh shrank from kissing him.) Fact is, if their genders were reversed -- she homely as hell, but nicely groomed, and he some reincarnation of Apollonic masculine beauty -- I think everyone would have considered Gone With the Wind an overlong comedy, and not a very funny one, either.

Be careful with the rose-colored glasses tho, hun! Your new fella may be great, but he ain't perfect...no one is. You and he have a chance to build something together now, so make it work! And post us some pics when you can!
