Thankfully I finally got the student loans out of the way. Lord, those people never give up! Not even when you're dead. They'll claim your estate. Not even the IRS does that. Speaking of, the Dept. of Education will also claim any income tax refunds you're due, too. They're merciless.
My heart is like a singing bird Whose nest is in a water'd shoot; My heart is like an apple-tree Whose boughs are bent with thick-set fruit; My heart is like a rainbow shell That paddles in a halcyon sea; My heart is gladder than all these, Because my love is come to me.
Raise me a daïs of silk and down; Hang it with vair and purple dyes; Carve it in doves and pomegranates, And peacocks with a hundred eyes; Work it in gold and silver grapes, In leaves and silver fleurs-de-lys; Because the birthday of my life Is come, my love is come to me.

I believe that, despite its apparent romantic notions, Rossetti is actually describing a religious birth, what might nowadays be called being "born again." The "love" she describes coming to her would then be the grace of Jesus. But it also works well as a metaphor for more secular love as well.
But my all-time favorite poem is Percy Bysshe Shelley's Ozymandias:
Ozymandias
by Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)
I met a traveler from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal these words appear: “My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.
I think actually the Chattanooga move was made a long time ago. I only mention it to illustrate that the "zones" are imaginary, and are where they are only because we all agree to believe so.
By the way, don't you know you shouldn't use your cell phone while driving?
Knoxville is in the Eastern US time zone, same as Georgia. I'm not sure how far west of here the imaginary border is. Not very far, I think. I do know that once upon a time, Chattanooga was in the Central zone, but was moved to put it in the same zone as Atlanta, with which it holds much commerce.
You make a valid point there. Some of us may be experiencing different types of glitches not because of the site redesign, but becaause of the browsers we're using. I imagine CS tech team tested the interface with most common browsers, but they likely couldn't accomodate every conceivable add-on.
The persistence of the red mailbox tab seems to be a very common complaint though. I'm getting it myself. But, it also happened a time or two before the redesign, so I'm not sure the new design is entirely responsible. I'm finding too I now receive notices of new CS mail at my external email address of mail that was already sent and received while I was logged in. That didn't happen before. Put it all together, it's a bit of a nuisance. But I suppose it's better to not miss an email than to not be pestered about it.
I do like the fact that one can now review one's email history with another member all at once when replying. Some days ago, in another thread, I observed that in the absence of the IM function returning, the only way to carry on a private conversation with another member was an endless series of emails. This new email-history display does make that easier.
I like some of its features. You're right about the highlighting staying though. But that also happens with the Flowerbox. Not sure about the Carbox, as no one sends me cards.
If you had to end the relationship before because he did not have feelings for you...and his feelings have not grown, as far as you know....what outcome would you expect if you renewed the relationship?
If you had $1,000,000
