RE: Ladies interested in a guy

Not everyone gets their view of reality from a TV show.

Nor from a book written 2000 years ago in a language they themselves can't read.

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

No. What do "they" say? And who exactly are "they"?

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

It did to me. laugh

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

There's not?

RE: Pippa middleton or Kate Middleton ?

For sure, we need more Polls. That's the thing.

In truth, I regard it as a necessary evil. But when Charles has the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow in the shop for some reason or other, I have to take the Lamborghini, and drive myself. It's such a chore.

RE: AHHHH!!!

I've never received any such. Maybe I don't look girlie enough?

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

It's clear we have much to discuss. I'm glad you created this opportunity. grin

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

Could be, yes. What size are they? My waistline is 30.

wine

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

Too late. Just did. Check for yourself. See? Viewing someone's profile means nothing, nothing, nothing.

wine

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

No, we prefer to read body language. grin

wine

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

Whoa, whoa, step back Jack. Just because someone viewed your profile doesn't mean they have any interest at all in you. Look, I will prove it by now viewing your profile.

So, what are they like in Amsterdam?

Knoxville is known as one of the most overpriced flight destinations in the USA. (That could change if, as planned, Southwest begins service here.) Also, our air-traffic controllers are known to take lonnnnnng naps while on duty.

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

About what? Airfare rates and flight schedules? angel

wine

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

Ok, no problem there.

wine

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

Ok, insert gender-bender joke here ----->

RE: Ladies interested in a guy

I dunno about the ladies, but I always choose the latter course.

Happy birthday, mooie vrouw. lips

Have people changed so much in half a lifetime? I kinda doubt it.

RE: Games

Personally, I've no kids, but if I did, they'd be school-age before they ever even knew television existed, and 16 before they ever saw one in our home.

And as for games? Why, there's chess. Checkers. Backgammon. Cards. Scrabble. Yahtzee. Trivial Pursuit. All sorts of games that involve interacting with other people instead of with software.

Camping.

Oouadhrse.....a tavern.

RE: Do You Feel Miserably Lonely

Thanks Reb.

RE: Do You Feel Miserably Lonely

Yeah, share...that's what I'd like to do.

RE: Games

My main problem with this is not the nature of the games, which may be rated T for Teen or M for Mature or whatever, but how addictive they are. A six year old should not spend endless hours interacting only with a television set.

Probably same goes for a 22-year-old.

RE: how to meet and talk to a girl. thanks.

You do know I work nights, right? tongue

RE: How old are the person below?

Exactly right. I am ok years old. How did you guess, Viva?

I'm guessing....33.

RE: Question = Answer, or?

Do please feel free to sulk and blame all your problems on us anonymous total strangers, if that makes you feel better, Mr. I-Claim-To-Seek-But-Only-Wanna-Hear-The-Answers-I-Wanted-To-Hear.

RE: How long does the rebound phase last?

Not to intrude, but that would make sense, being in a rush. It'd mean you tended to blame yourself for the failure of the previous relationship, and were (subconsciously) seeking validation, elsewhere. Sounds quite natural to me, and I don't doubt quite common.

RE: how to meet and talk to a girl. thanks.

Thanks, clue-fairy, but none of us men are gonna email him. We all saw the movie version of "How To Pick Up Women" back in 1974.

RE: Women with a lovely mirror.

Sometimes poetry is called for. Sometimes it ain't.

Always, when referring to a specific woman, because each is a unique and precious gem. Also always when referring to the special role all women share in donating their fertility to the perpetuation of our species, and to all the accoutrements of that special role.

Not, though, when speaking of all women generally, as though they were some alien race from another planet. And especially not when viewing them as seen through earthling-men's eyes.

Ok, just my opinion.
